My wife and I revisited the Cedar Tree yesterday.
The food was excellent.
We were served by Isobel who was attentive and professional .
The owner Rachel was as always very welcoming.
The ambience was lovely.

Food was ok . Chips frozen, onion rings over cooked but the cheese pie was the star . Really pleasant bar staff and the cider was bang on .
Limited menu but there was a specials board .
Maybe next time will eat before we go and just stick to the cider.
Its a bit off the beaten track but worth a visit for the friendly atmosphere.

This is our local pub & restaurant and never disappoints. The food is always lovely and Rachel the landlady is such a great host and runs a tight ship, the young new staff are all very friendly and professional, today was no exception with a lovely young man serving us and making sure we were looked after. They are credit to Rachel's hard work. Thank you :)

What a great hidden gem. The staff were amazing the food was great and the service was fast especially as we were a big group. They were more than happy to accommodate any allergies and made everyone feel welcome.

I visited The Cedar Tree with my family for a special birthday and was blown away by what an incredible gem this place is! There?s a lovely cosy feel to the whole place. The food was lovely and while we all had different starters and mains, I lucked out by ordering the Salt and pepper calamari which was just awesome. The hangin danglin skewers were also amazing.
Whilst the restaurant was quite busy (first Sunday of spring) I couldn?t fault the staff. Our server was so friendly and efficient and yet unobtrusive. Just the right balance.
For the price paid, this has to be one of the best value for money meals we have had in a long time.
Overall, delighted to have discovered this gem of a place and we will be returning again for sure.

Brilliant place to relax with friends or on your own Rachel is a lovley host as well as her staff and always makes you welcome.has great entertainment on all the time which I have been too many times. Great atmosphere and quite local to lovely walks around.
