?The Dysarts Arms, delivers exactly what you want from a traditional pub meal?hearty, well-cooked food in a welcoming setting. Whether you?re after a casual dinner with friends or a satisfying meal after a long day, it?s a solid choice. I?ll definitely be back to try their Sunday roast!?

Lovely refurbishment, small but very cosy. As mentioned in previous review, no separation between dining and drinking so was very noisy in the bar where we were eating. Food was fine, typical pub food, beautiful soup but disappointing prawn cocktail which was a big bowl of lettuce leaves a few defrosted prawns and a slice of bread and butter. Average pub prices albeit the menu link on the website needs updating as everything was £2 dearer. Efficient, pleasant staff, a little wait but nothing excessive. Dog friendly which suited us. Definitely advisable to book or you will probably not get a table on chance. Parking very limited

We booked a table for the first time with the Dysarts arms . After reading the feedbacks from other people, we expected a good meal. We were not dissapointed! The interior of the pub was beautifully renovated and had a fantasic atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and friendly and looked after us .The meal was first class and hot when served .The cost of the meal was not expensive, in other words ,what we would expect for a quality meal. We would certainly visit again! Thanks to all the staff and Chefs who prepared our food.

My first visit here it was such a lovely cosy pub, fairly priced and the food was really good. Parking is a bit tricky so be careful. I will definitely be making it one to visit again soon. Highly recommend ?

First time visit. Food was fine, typical pub food . The place seems confused , not sure if it?s a bar or dining area. I understand that it?s a small pub but they have crammed the tables together , also means that non dinners are sat right next to you . We went with granddaughter for dinner and a group of lads were sat right next to us, they were very loud and swearing , no problem with that in a pub but not where we were eating . The young servers were lovely .

The recent renovations have transformed the Dysarts into a really smart but cosy pub, we have visited a couple of times recently and really enjoyed both visits. The staff are really friendly and the food is good and at very reasonable prices. I ordered a beef sizzler which was really nice, the rest of our family ordered a variety of meals all of which were really good. It?s not a massive pub so you may need to book at popular times and they stop serving food at 8pm. Very good, we will be back.

We went for lunch on a Thursday, the pub is lovely inside. We ordered the light lunch , 3 courses for £14 which was great value. I had breaded mushrooms to start followed by fish and chips then crumble and custard. Delicious. Hopefully they will speed up service with more staff but would definitely go back.

Following the refurbishment, it's absolutely stunning. The food and menu were amazing. A very tired venue has become a beautiful country pub with a wonderful vibe.

Won?t be going again ,only went to see the refurbishment, noticed all tables had reserved on them , so asked where could we sit , luckily a couple were going as I asked so sat at a high table not happy about that but rather then cause a fuss sat down ,not one table was taken up while we had our drink , noticed 2 people sat at a table for six , you work it out , also it?s a dog restaurant,

First time since the refurbishment have to say very impressed. We had our dog with us and was sat in the right hand corner in a comfy chair which was perfect as the dog was out of the way. The food was fantastic to the only negative is I?d like the chicken wings crispier. But then my preference. Waiting times for food was good. Iv read a few reviews moaning about waiting times but I?d rather wait then be rushed. We will definitely be back and it?s great to finally have a good local pub.

The food was very nice plenty of choice but it would be good if there was a more interesting choice of vegetarian options rather than the usual cheese and onion pie.Vegetarian options: Needs more choice of vegetarian food.
