I took my son to Middleton Pharmacy last night and the two members of staff were really friendly. The chap looking at my son was really helpful, took his time to ask lots of questions and gave lots of helpful advice. My son is 5 years old and was a little tired and impatient but the chap was so patient with him and it was a trip well worth making. Glad that I won?t need to waste an hour on the phone at 8am on Monday morning trying to get a GP appointment.
Looking at the previous reviews, we didn?t experience any of the negativity others have experienced.

Was advised I qualified for free prescription as I claimed ESA . Never been on benefits before . I was told where to sign, just now paid ( nearly ) £120 in fines. 2 types of ESA , one you can get free prescriptions , 1 you can?t . Don?t offer advice if you don?t know what your talking about .

Absolutely ridiculous. Refused to sell me paracetamol because they were for my horse under the vets instructions. Said she couldn't sell me them because "they weren't for hunan consumption." Never heard anything so stupid.

My son fell in the zoo on Saturday which resulted In him having stones In bedded into a deep laceration on his had. Toom him to Doncaster hospital where I wasn't happy with treatment because they didn't remove the stones and just slapped a dual derm dressing on. so I rang 111 for advice as I was concerned. Was advised to go to this pharmacy for a second opinion. Pharmacist didn't listen to a word I said and didn't bother looking at his wound either. Last night my sons had started leaking. I took him to my hospital today and drs were baffled at the advice of this pharmacy and doncaster hospital for leaving foreign objects in a deep laceration. Drs have now removed stones but Hand Is infected and has too deep massive puncture wounds. Don't go to thus pharmacy for advise. Patronising and didn't listen to me atall. Need re training

I was refused my medication. I gave it plenty of time between the pharmacy receiving the prescription to me collecting. I was in the que by 7pm and got seen at 7.15 to be told it wasnt done and they wont be issuing it due to closing, even tho they had 45 mins until closing. And when i said this i got attitude from the staff, saying that theres a que to get through and that i shouldn't have waited until closing time. I again said they had 45 mins, 3 staff members and 5 people in the que, pretty doable. I was still refused and told to go back the next day. Then the staff member walked away. I get fortnightly meds and monthly meds and its always the same. The medication is never done for days. Theres even been 2 occasions where iv been in the que and staff have refused to give a elderly gentleman insulin and a mother prescribed milk for her young baby. The staff are rude and un helpful. Id never ever recommend this pharmacy.
Do better tesco, do much better.

I was a customer of this Pharmacy for over 4 years, mainly only down to the fact it?s open longer hours than most other chemists. The majority of the staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. Although I must point out some of the staff are lovely. You are treated horrendously if you forget to order your repeat prescription and get an electronic referral from NHS 111 and are left without medication, I was once even refused an asthma inhaler whilst waiting for my repeat prescription when was having breathing difficulties. Absolutely horrendous service. Now gone with a local chemist which has lovely staff and a lovely pharmacist. The staff at Tesco Pharmacy need to realise they aren?t Doctors. The blonde lady and the pharmacists are the worst, very rude and talk disrespectful about you thinking you can?t hear them, they sometimes make you wait over an hour to collect and would rather see you without medication if you forget to order repeats on time, even if you?ve not forgot to do so for over a year. They held the fact I?d forgot once 11 months prior and left me with no medication for days.

STAFF MEMBERS ARE BEYOND RUDE!!!My boyfriend has a repeat prescription for insulin.. this should have been done on MONDAY 3rd after going in and being told to come back on TUESDAY 4th, he asked if he could come back on FRIDAY 7th and was told that it?ll definitely be ready for then. We both went back on Friday, my boyfriend had ran out of insulin at this point and his sugar levels were just showing ?HIGH?. After being stood in a 15 minute queue we were told to come back in 20 minutes, we went back and was stood in another 40 minute queue. Whilst being stood in this queue we heard multiple people complaining including a man who?s wife had been giving the WRONG medication and the blonde woman was more concerned about getting the medication back rather than focusing on this woman?s health. Also being stood in this queue a tesco member of staff decided she didn?t want to wait in the queue like the rest of us and shouted the woman behind the counter for her prescription instead.. the lady behind the counter then got this tesco members prescription and left the counter to talk to her on the shop floor for about 5/10 minutes. We eventually got served to be told they didn?t have my boyfriends medication AN HOUR AFTER BEING TOLD TO COME BACK IN 20 MINUTES! My boyfriend explained he was unhappy with the situation, he had NO insulin left and his sugar levels were ridiculously high. He asked why they didn?t tell him this when we first got served because he could have gone elsewhere to get his insulin.. none of the staff could answer this question. He then asked if he could have his prescriptions back and that he was going to go elsewhere in the future because this isn?t the first time he?s had problems here (he had his toe amputated and was infected so needed dressing for the wound.. he was left 4 days without dressing because yet again they didn?t have them). The lady serving us then said she was going to get tescos floor manager. Whilst being stood behind the plastic screen thinking we couldn?t hear every word she was saying she then began to bad mouth my boyfriend to other members of staff, saying she?s going to give him his prescription back and take him off the system (when in reality my boyfriend asked for his prescription back). Tesco floor manager came over and was absolutely amazing - MATHEW his name was. He gave us the number to complain further as the way we were treated was beyond a joke!!STAFF NEED TRAINING! THEIR ATTITUDE IS RIDICULOUS!!!

Rude staff, prescription never ready even when doctors sent it 48hrs previously. They all need sacking and decent staff that will actaully work. Amazing how many staff they have yet can't get a prescription ready on time. Awful and will never use again!!

Every time i go to pick up a prescription they are too busy to give it to me! Even when I receive a text to advice my prescription is ready. I can deal with that excuse on the odd occasion but this is every time. Luckily I drive so although it is a complete inconvenience i can go back later, but i feel sorry for people who don't drive and have to go out of their way and waste money on multiple trips. You either need more staff on the pharmacy or you need to stop accepting prescriptions from doctors.
