Had an afternoon tea last weekend, service is great and wasn't too busy. Sandwiches were awful, white bread stale and cold (out of a fridge). Ham & mustard with way too much mustard, pickled cucumber - spot the cucumber, smoked salmon which would have been good if it had been on fresh bread, same with the chicken option. Would have been better with mixed bread (brown/white) and fresh. Scones and cakes were lovely. Teas/coffees etc included in the price. Overcharged on the way out so had to go back in for a refund. Overall experience was good just a shame about the stale cheap white bread.

I?m new to Marple and today was my first visit. Cannot recommend enough. Lovely, welcoming staff, great coffee and fab food. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis.

1st time i've been to this place. My girlfriend took me there today, saturday 28th December 2024, good first impression, walking past the amazing selection of gorgeous lookimg cakes, good atmosphere and great customer service.
the food was excellent, poached eggs were spot on as well as the rest of the meal. thank you so much. we will visit again

Spend half my life and wages in this place! Best coffee in marple, food is excellent and the staff are always welcoming, friendly and more often than not go above and beyond. They nail our Christmas buffet order every year too!

Marple has some of the best pastries and desserts I've tried. They continually swap the menu items so there is always something new to try. I suggest early arrival as the restaurant section fills up quickly and their best pastries sell out.

Took my mum and grandparents here after seeing a few TikTok videos about the place. The food was very lovely, big portion sizes and some unique food combinations. Definitely lots of new things to try there. The coffee and cakes were also very nice. Only thing I would say is it is a bit overpriced. Obviously we knew what we were ordering and the prices but it was still quite costly for the four of us. We had two starters, three mains with two sides, four hot drinks and four small desserts and it came to £100.
