We attended Zizzi and had a fantastic meal, the food was delicious the service was also amazing. We were served by Uddie, she was so warm and great with our children. She even got to know their names over the duration of our meal and provided such a personalised service. We have never had a better waitress, thank you so much Uddie!

We have visited this restaurant twice- first time at the beginning of December and unfortunately the main meals were cold, bought this to the attention of the manager who apologised profusely, removed the cost from the bill and gave us a card giving us 50% off mains in January. So we went back today giving them another chance and the spaghetti pomodoro wasn?t good, the sauce tasted like Heinz tomato soup and my daughter felt sick after eating the food. The bill was brought to the table, showed the waiter the card for 50% off and showed him the app that was down with a message from Zizzi saying they were updating the website, the waiter shrugged and said I can?t do anything. I said no it?s a zizzi problem - he got the manager who confirmed she had received an email from head office saying that the website was down and she would remove it manually, she didn?t she removed the 2 cokes from the bill. By this time I was so fed up with the situation that I couldn?t be bothered to fight for the rest. Needless to say we have been twice to this establishment and twice left extremely disappointed. We will not be back I?m sorry to say!

Service was amazing. Really enjoyed the cherry cocktail. Even had a lovely dessert. I will come again and recommend to my friends. Jessiah and Jonathan were excellent.

As a new year tradition, me and the missus go to a different zizzi every year as that is where we had our first meal and the one in Stafford started the great expectations. Today we tried the one in Trafford centre. Straight away as I was waiting to be seated, I could tell the manager was rushed off his feet (maybe someone rang in sick or they had less staff working that day). It showed because there was a line of people waiting to be seated. As we got to the table which was around a few mins wait, we looked at the menu. I usually use a QR code to order so I didn't have to wait for someone to take my order but the wait to menu reading ratio was off by a long way. If I needed something I had to get up and find someone (and I'm no way a stuck up posh up my own ar*e kind of person) but it lacked the 'going out' experience. I ordered the mozzarella bomb as that is the best starter in my opinion they do, I also ordered the piccante prawns that came swinging on a skewer (nice touch), sweet potato fries and unfortunately the giant profiterole was sold out so settled for the gooey chocolate cake. All in all the food was amazing as per but the service really let everything down. The manager did a good job trying to sort people out as he was non stop all over the show but one man shouldn't have to do 3 people's job for the same wage. Every empty table had empty plates and the cleaning system seemed non existent. I'll put it down to the time of year and lack of staff but a better team effort was needed. Still enjoyed the food.

Came on New Years Eve, place was not even half full. Nobody came to the front desk for 10 minutes, someone from the queue went to ask. The bar guy said it wasn?t his job to come to the front so we needed to wait, then the waiter said it was bookings only but like I said there was nobody there. Poor service even if it?s bookings only put a sign and don?t be snarky to customers. Won?t try again.

Food was exceptional but service was very disappointing,bought starters then had to wait for cutlery.bought mains and had to wait for cutlery,then had to wait whilst the waiter had finished what he had started to eat at the food pass..and still chewing it when plonking our desserts on the table and then had to ask for cutlery as he did not even look that he was going to get it.
This was the end to Xmas shopping at the Trafford centre at Manchester.
