Embarking on a weekend journey to Manchester, I eagerly secured a ticket for The Venue's "Independence" night, anticipating a solo adventure in the heart of the indie music scene. However, my excitement was abruptly halted at the entrance, where the bouncers informed me of a surprising policy ? no solo entries allowed.The irony struck hard: "Independence" seemed to have a different definition at The Venue. Be careful buying the tickets online, they won't allow you enter if you are by yourself.The bouncers were laughing about the situation, they showed me the sign in a mocking way (dancing with it), I told them I wanted to talk to the manager and the female bouncer told me no. Fortunately I was able to talk to him, he behaved better, but the rules they have are classist.They should hire people with more education, since I had already spent money for the place and they treated me poorly (4 of them, I don't know what so many of them did outside).

Terrible music, expensive basic drinks, and filthy little ?club?. Absolutely not worth the entry fee! It was empty on Friday night after midnight!
