Nothing flash, no gimmicks but you get what you'd expect to get, a nice meal in good surroundings. The staff remind me of a good football referee who runs the game well but you hardly know he's there!

Brilliant location, superb staff wonderful evening, safe carpark ,food was warm and delicious, My 60 party was enjoyed by all family and friends.Safety: Free safe carpark on sight .Food & drinks: Food served on time ,and kept nice and hot.

Our first time hear with my husband & mother in law for lunch was realy Impressed the food & was delicious well worth the money the staff were very helpful & polite we will definitely come back thank you for a lovely afternoon all the staff at the woodthorpe.

Gothic awesomeness ,it's a fact Joseph Holts the master brewer used this huge gothicmansion for home early on after the success....even if you don't drink. Try food and soak in the history you are bequeathed with in the area....it would work with a decent menu..

A quick catch up with friends after a walk in the park. Dogs were made welcome. We only had snacks but I have eaten here before and do recommend it. Tables can't be booked though and are offered on a first come first served basis so do get there in good time if it's a popular time.

Myself and 4 members of my family dined here on the 23rd January 2024. We called for tea at approx 6pm. We ordered 3 burgers with fries and side portions of onion rings ect. The whole thing was garbage the parties were burnt and dry, The lettuce were limp and the bun was wet on th3 underside plus the fries were warm not hot. On one meal there was green beans which we thought had come from a tin. The whole experience was horrendous. We pooled the meat and Chicken to take home for the dogs. I would strongly recommend that if you are considering eating here select another option. O and I was charges £4.99 for a pint on the diamond Holt brew which I thought was outrageous. Be warned
