Place is what it is, staff do spend more time chatting to each other but its only a small place, long as you know what you want its ok, but if avoid asking for testers or advise on new fragrances as they did seem to not really want to help with that, but I did buy the medium Invictus, ok price.

Good range of products and the prices of most were very competetive. The gift boxes were very well priced.

This place used to be really good. But now they seem to be chronically understaffed and if it gets busy you can find yourself waiting for a long time just to find the price of something.

Another great fragrance ship this is one of two The Perfume Shops in the Armadale.

I was lucky enough not to ever receive bad service. Before I went to this shop. I can say without hesitation that this was the worst customer service ever. Nobody in this shop even tried to help me with my looking for gift. When I said I'm not sure what I'm looking for instead of trying to help me the lady just stood there looking at me and clearly just wanted me to leave and never again take her precious time. I'm not recommending this place to anybody and I'm not going to go there myself anymore!

The Perfume Shop has two branches in Manchester's Arndale Centre, this one is located next to EE and opposite Boost Juice and Footlocker Kids, it is in a decent condition near the Market Street enterence into the Arndale opposite Lloyds Bank and the huge Boots store. I've called in here twice now and I've had so many different results in terms of obtaining samples. Firstly, I came in to ask if there was any samples and the staff member seemed nice and probably gave me about 6 or 7 from good brands too such as Sauvage by Dior, Hugo Boss and Jean Paul Gaultier. Secondly, I came in and did the same a week later with a new member of staff and was only given two, one was an opened Hugo Boss Intense and the other was just a standard one. The member of staff seemed a little disinterested on that occasion. Comparing to other Perfume Shop's I have visited, this is typical and is still much better than The Fragrance Shop, who I have had bad experiences with in Liverpool and just a few stores down also in the Manchester Arndale. The store inside is okay, it is pretty much average for any store of its sort and does seem to have a good stock of the main brands, of course it is quite hard to browse without asking a member of staff as near enough everything is behind their till, which is different to the Bradford branch who mainly use this method with some on the back wall too. This store is okay and it is just basically average, average, average, yet I feel only deserves a high two star rating because of immense competition and it should be doing more in a city centre with so many other places to go to win customers such as other branches of TPS, The Fragrance Shop, Boots, House of Fraser, Selfridges, Debenhams - The list goes on so you can get my point!

An easy peasy place to buy your next perfume. Sometimes I find it quite overwhelming in Boots or Superdrug, where the people working at the perfume counters are also working different areas, and not always focused at the task in hand (not that perfume is that compelling.) However, the Perfume Shop folks only have one thing to think about! I tried to go in today but, unfortunately due to the space available, it was jam-packed. However, when I walked past I was handed a 15% voucher for use in store or online. So, being the person I am, I came home and went straight to the online store! They've got plenty of gift sets and stocking fillers available, currently with free delivery online, just in case you're like me and can't face squeezing into the shop space.
