Spectacular location, in the most beautiful corner of the city, next to Shambles square and in front of the cathedral. I had a single room with breakfast included for two nights, for a total price of 152 pounds (about €178). The building is old, and the room had carpet in fair condition and a floor that creaked constantly.... read full comment

Ideal location for centre Manchester, opposite cathedral. everything else a real let down.Rooms: Room was such a let down, so small bathroom and need of a refurbishment, walls so thin you could hear next room turing on their shower.

Great, friendly staff, great breakfast. Sadly, the en suite for my room, in the Cathedral rooms, was a joke. The wash basin overhangs the toilet, as the picture shows!
