Wow.. £25 for a roast that is AWFUL. All the food came at different times as well. Veg came separately from the roasties and was cold/eaten by the time it came. Great atmosphere for a pint but food is some of the worst and most expensive I've had in Chorlton. Still will always come for drinks :)

Quite like the refurb. Some of the new food choices are welcome, although probably straining towards the top end of the price bracket for what you would expect in a local pub.
The only real negative has got to be the dj'ing at the weekends. I do like that there is a live DJ, but they are scarcely playing for the crowd. It is very self-indulgent and incoherently loud. On Friday, people were clearly drinking outside to get away from it. When they had to come back in, they were crowding in the back room. Barely anyone could tolerate being anywhere near the decks. It's a Friday night in a local. People are there to chat. A bit of ambient music chosen by a DJ paying attention to the crowd is fine, but this is blaring and obnoxious. This is not just a one off, but most Fridays recently. Just turn it down a touch :)

Oh my goodness, the Sunday roasts are unreal! I had the lamb and my partner had the porchetta and everything was absolutely delicious. Can't recommend enough.

(Sat afternoon 29TH MARCH 25) Didn't eat here, but the food from the dining area smelt delicious. Wide range of beers & bottles and lovely, polite staff. Muchas Gracias ??
* Bonus for me was an in-house DJ who played some cracking tunes, although I struggled to shazam them lol, so definitely need to crank the volume up a few notches to give them justice.

First time for Sunday lunch and it was fabulous. Friendly staff.....food was excellent..Best Sunday lunch I've had...and I've had a lot ! Will definitely come back.

I tried to ring the pub but it goes to answer machine. last night, approximately 6 PM we left the Lloyds after having a drink. Unfortunately, I left my phone behind 2 on the table. We want to a restaurant then, I realised, I didn't have my mobile, my husband walked back and one of their very kind staff had found it and kept it behind the bar. So I just wanted to say a great big Thank you! I'm so pleased.!
