I want to preface this by saying that I have regularly gone to this salon for a few years for a wash, cut and blow, and have had a few different stylist (Carmen, Ellie, Tawney, Luka, Barbra) who have all done a really nice job on my hair- that's the reason for the two stars, instead of one. My most recent experience has put me off returning; I much preferred it during the Lockdown as you could book a time and choose a stylist so you knew you were in safe hands, it now feels like playing Russian Roulette with my hair and this time, I sadly lost and that for me is one time too many. The stylist I had most recently I had never seen before. I asked what I normally ask for which is a general tidy up- trim the layers and fringe and put the shaping back around the face. After she'd washed my hair, the first question the stylist ask was 'Why do you have layers?' (judgemental much!). If she wanted to make a suggestion to try something new, I'm sure there was a less judgy segway she could've gone for. Then, half way through the cut, she suddenly asked whilst holding up a section of hair: 'Is this part of your fringe?'. You're the stylist, shouldn't you know? If she didn't know what she was doing, she should've asked for help (there were three other stylist there (two of whom have cut my hair before). I don't know what she did to my fringe, but it kept parting down the middle, and she told me this was the result of me leaving it so long between cuts. My last hair cut was roughly ten weeks prior, I usually leave it 8-10 weeks between cuts and never this problem before. Because of this, I couldn't tell what she'd actually done to my hair and could only tell when I washed and styled it myself the next day. I know it felt very weighed down and static-like which is unusual, so I ran my fingers through my hair when we were done, to which she responded by saying 'Awww, now you can't see the layers, I made it nice and wavey for you'. I never ask for my hair to be dried wavey, I ask for straight. Which she would've know if she'd bothered to ask how I liked my hair dried. Luckily, I had a voucher for money off as paying £47 for that experience was not certainly not worth it. When I was able to wash and style my hair myself and see what she had done, I was very disappointed. My hair feels so fine, and not in a good way. She's taken the layers to the wire (hence, the static feeling). They feel very thin, and fly-away, like they are going to snap. I have oily hair so as a result, my hair has so far not lasted a day before looking like a greasy mess. Because she's not framed the face properly (again, I couldn't tell what's she'd done because the fringe kept parting down the middle- it was fine when I styled it myself) the result is a very blunt fringe- she commented after she'd hacked my hair after she could not identify what was fringe and what wasn't, that I had a very wide fringe (again, judgemental much!). She has GIVEN me a wide fringe. And there is no softness or shaping around the face like I normally have. She did the shaping whilst it was still wet, which is unusual as most of the stylist I've had do this when it is dry, I'm assuming so they can see the overall result and adjust accordingly. I am hopeful I can style this out as it grows out, but overall, I am very disappointed with this experience. As I've said, I will not be returning and am now looking for a salon elsewhere.

I had an outstanding experience at Supercuts today, thanks to Linzy's exceptional skills and the salon's fantastic service. Linzy worked wonders on my hair, exceeding all my expectations and leaving me absolutely thrilled with the result. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional, making my visit comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. I am truly in love with my hair, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to visit Supercuts. I highly recommend Linzy and Supercuts to anyone looking for a top-notch haircut and hair colour experience.

Dan did my younger boy's hair today and it has done properly. Very confident professional. I left it to him and the result was over expected.

Writing first Google review for this, popped in on a whim and waited 20 mins, had wash, cut and blowdry and style. The lady who did my hair (I think her name was Ellie) was lovely and did a great job. I think this is my favourite haircut I've ever had. Thank you!

The receptionist said it was a 2.5 hour to 3 hour wait and to come back then and called in 1.5 hours as I had just ordered food at a restaurant to eat. When I got back to them in 30 mins they said it was another 3 hour wait for an appointment. While booking the appointment I wasn't told that they would only hold the slot for 5-10 mins after the call. Poor communication and awful customer service by the staff. They should be clearer with their instructions. If a customer is told that the wait is 2.5 hours its only natural that we would do other things in the meanwhile LIKE GETTING FOOD. Do better.

Went here to have my hair done a few weeks ago, hairdresser was late to work and then kept me waiting even longer to show around a new starter. I usually wear my hair with a middle part and asked for some layers as I am growing out a fringe and wanted it blending in.The hairdresser (a Spanish lady) was too busy chatting to another customer and not paying full attention to what she was doing. My hair is a different length on each side and it is so bad I am having to wear my hair with a side part. Charged £41, at that price I really would expect better. Needless to say I won't be recommending or returning any time soon..

Graham did an excellent job cutting layers. I'm very pleased with my haircut. Most hair dressers just do a quick job and I don't always like it. Will definitely recommend.

I?ve been to this salon twice, the first time was amazing I had Daniel who cut my hair amazingly, my hair is very important to me as I have long hair and I?ve had awful experiences where I?ve had bad haircuts before from other salons he made me feel comfortable ect so the second time I visited I made sure to have Daniel again, he fitted me in a slot (I was already in the que which had timed out multiple times I think he had been double booked) I?m so grateful for being fitted in but the whole experience felt rushed I explained very well what I wanted showed multiple pictures and it was exactly what I had last time that I wanted except with layers he agreed. (I wanted thin wispy bang sort of style putting in, with some chin length bangs and layers with a Flickr blow out) when I looked in the mirror he had cut me a thick blunt fridge and curtain bangs which I very quickly said this isn?t what I want he thinned it out a little bit and moved it around which looked better but once I left the salon and looked again I noticed it was just my hair repositioned and now I actually have a blunt fringe and I hate it every time I look in the mirror I get insecure and look about 5 years old, Im really unhappy with my service and I for sure won?t be going again or any hairdressers again untill I feel like I can trust one again. I don?t even think a refund would make me feel better

Shocking hair cut, went in for a wash, cut and blow, going on holiday on Tuesday so I thought go to supercuts in Manchester Arnadale for a professional cut . Went in, half hour wait which wasn't a problem. Had a wash, asked me what I want which a explained i was happy with. She started to sissercut it which I thought was odd more like a barber's cut , finish the cut and she asked me to feel my hair if it was okay, which it wasn't need more cutting off. Didn't go through it herself kept asking me was it okay as if I was a professional. Than got the hairdryer and blow it quickly about 2mins and then said your hair drys really quickly never style quick dry really disappointed. Paid £37'00 for that.Got home and I noticed my hair was uneven on one side , the back wasn't straight so my partner had to cut it and I had to cut one side to make it straight so disappointed and not worth the money, first time cut at supercuts and last ,Just awful I will never go back .

You can walk in for a cut but I made a booking by telephone. There was a booking fee and when I arrived my 9:30 appointment was entered in the diary as 1pm with a hairdresser who wasn't working that day. However, after a short wait the booking fee was taken off my bill and I had an excellent haircut.Cash only.
