Awful customer service. The male staff member who took my order was very aloof. I asked to scan my QR code on the mobile app and was met with nothing but standoffish attitude. "That's not paying, that's scanning". Didn't pass on my keep cup on for the coffee to be served in.
The what-appears-to-be female manager scolded the one asset of a staff member for apologising to me for using a throwaway cup instead of my keep cup. The nice staff was trying to be nice and top up my cold brew a bit and was reprimanded.
I hope the nice staff member has a great day. Everyone else in that team, I hope you forever drop your toast butter side down, and whenever you go to cross a road, the lights are always red.

The staff member dressed in all black working at 9:30am on 22nd August 2024 is very rude and aggressive to customers when trying to pick up their mobile orders. When speaking to her she got very heated and put her hand up in my face

I'd like to start by saying the staff is lovely and the coffee is great. However, the manager creates a very tense environment. She is not nice to customers and seems bothered by any question. After three visits where I've felt poorly treated, it's clear she is out of touch with customer service skills, she even talks over her staff who are trying to provide good customer service, just to be rude and usually wrong. People go to Starbucks and pay these prices expecting a certain level of customer service and kindness.

Best starbucks i've been to. The staff are always kind and helpful. The coffee is always good and served fast. The manager is just the best and keeps this place running like clockwork!

Has been fine years ago but more recently the service has been horrendous. One more than one occasion the staff operating the tills are horrible to customers, charge for the largest drink size possible without asking while other staff pretend they are not responsible for taking your order and just ignore you. No word of kindness is directed at the customer.

I carried a Pret Cup, walked into this Starbucks and just ordered a Large Vanilla Matcha Latte at this Starbucks.It?s not my first time here but it is definitely my last time being a Starbucks customer.All the staff (the staff who took my order & and the staff who made the latte were decent and lovely) expected one.There was a staff and who was not wearing any uniform or nametag so I didn?t know what her position there for now I called her A.I asked for a cup holder cause I can?t carry two cups a once. The other staff was making another drink so he asked A to bring me a cup holder. A said (quote on quote): ?No, the other one you didn?t buy from here so I can?t give it to you?. I was silenced for a moment because I didn?t know what to say and she continued: ?Can?t sorry?.To that woman A who treated me so badly today:I do not know what happened to you that makes you a grumpy person like today, but I hope everything is going to be fine for you, madam.It?s just a cup holder and if I had asked for an ice cup you could have given me the cup holder already, but I didn?t. I chose to leave. Arguing with a person who thinks that I took advantage of the store by asking for ONE PAPER CUP HOLDER would just make me more miserable. If I learned that buying giving me a cup holder because I carried both Pret & Starbucks cup got you into trouble, I wouldn?t ask for it BUT WE ALL KNOE THAT YOU ARE NOT INTO ANY TROUBLE BY GIVING ME JUST A PAPER CUP HOLDER.I don?t know if you treated me like that because of my look, or my background, but I don?t think you would done that with a local.I think that you found yourself lucky by bullying me with that attitude. Because it would not end up like that with another single person.For those who read this and think: ?It?s JUST A CUP HOLDER GET OVER IT? then EXACTLY! It?s just a cup holder how can one be so disrespectful and unpleasant attitude?Even though I have a Pretty Monthly Subscription, I still come to Starbucks and buy drinks. But from now on I don?t think that will be the case anymore.For anyone craving for good Matcha Latte and a nice atmosphere cafe at cheaper prices, I?d recommend Federal which is also based in Oxford Road.Starbucks will still be my favourite brand afterwards, but you Madam A, I suggest you get rid of that way of treating people thinking you are solving a problem.Being flexible and treating people with love is how we work in this industry. You might change the place you work for but if that attitude remains and runs deep, I am sure Starbucks will not just lose 1 customer.For the other staff that stay silenced the whole time. I think you should have said something? But bottomline I understand it?s not your fault and you are buying and making drinks.

The daily manager (don't know her name) is extremely rude to guests. She is also rude to her staff, who are clearly very tense and stressed when she is circulating round them, complaining about everything and everyone. Really bad. Someone from Head Office needs to come and see for themselves. She is super bad for business!

I have frequented this Starbucks a lot over the past few years as it is near my work. However, I find the staff member in charge makes the atmosphere very tense and always has something to tell me off about. Nobody needs this kind of discomfort and hassle to start the working day. I will be going back to Nero's as my morning coffee option as the staff are friendly, welcoming and kind.
