From a person who basically gets Starbucks every other day, I definitely wouldn't visit this place despite it being 2 mins away from my house.
Ordered an "Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso with less ice and hazelnuts syrup" ? my standard order ever since Oat shaken Espresso was introduced a few years back.
The barista messed up the order, putting too much ice in it. I did contemplate asking them about it as I'm not that confrontational, and even walked back briefly.
But since it was a cold December day, I politely reminded them that it had too much ice in it while the order mentioned little ice in it.
The Barista to my shock was very much annoyed with this simple request and just poured my coffee into a new cup and gave it back to me. Which wasn't even half the size of the "Tall Drink" that I ordered. (minus the syrup which stayed in the old cup).
I mean, the whole point of ordering oat shaken Espresso is that it's shaken and not mixed like a bad looking cold Nescafe. Forcing myself, I asked them again if this is what I'd be getting. The annoyed barista, snapped back saying this is what I get for ordering without ice. And if I wanted more I should've ordered with ice.
Yeah cool, if I wanted that attitude and this drink, I would've made myself a Nescafe at home. I just don't understand how every other Starbucks has been making it right for the past 3 years.
I mean if this can be called a "Tall Oat 'Shaken' Espresso", what's stopping us from calling the earth flat huh? :) It was 5 pm on a Saturday so, it wasn't even a busy time. (Maybe for Bunny's next door but definitely not here.)

Bad experience! The employees here are rude and unfriendly. One employee made me uncomfortable with her up and down glances at me while I was ordering. She had a stern face the whole time without a polite word. I was very unhappy with what she did! Awful experience! You guys need to step up the training of your staff!

Extremely Hot Coffee and Poor Customer Service
I visited the Starbucks in Whitworth Street west and had an unpleasant experience that warrants a one-star rating. I ordered my usual coffee, but once again, it was served far too hot, making it impossible to drink. This is not the first time this has happened with the same barista ( Chad?). When I politely pointed out that the coffee was excessively hot, the barista's solution was to pour it into another cup, creating a double layer. This did nothing to solve the actual problem; the coffee remained scalding and undrinkable.
To make matters worse, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, I was met with an unprofessional and dismissive attitude. Instead of addressing the issue or offering to remake the drink at a more reasonable temperature, I was told that my feedback was unwelcome.
This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I hope the management takes note of this incident. Serving coffee at a dangerously high temperature and then refusing to handle customer complaints properly is not what I expect from Starbucks.

Disgusting attitude by the young red hair girl who randomly decided not to shake my drink when asked politely please could I have my coffee shaken and another young girl muttering behind her as to why it's shaken I was even over charged as am a cold member and did not put my gold member discount throughIf she was not going to shake my coffee she needs to double check if I still want a coffeeOnce again disgusting attitude by staffI hope a manager reads this and sorts his teams attitude towards customers

Awful staff, too busy talking to each other and laughing instead of helping out customer, we ordered a wrap and didn't know the name of it, we asked if the wrap in the counter was ours, woman said the name of it, but not knowing the name of what we ordered we didn't know if it was ours, we kept asking questions about what was in it, she kept saying the name of the item and talking condescendingly providing no help at all, awful staff thumbs down

My favourite Starbucks in Manchester city centre. Always very clean and tidy inside, great WiFi and plenty of space to get some work done in between meetings.The location on first street also makes this place special as it's a great location for both leisure and business.Everything you need from a Starbucks

Love this place and try to come once a week. Relaxed and peaceful environment alongside friendly and professional service from both Jerry and Anna May, who go out of their way to ensure customers feel welcome. They deserves a raise and represent the company well! Very nice spot and coffee is amazing!

I came in to get one drink and they added water to the syrup when making my drink. So asked them not to. It was then at the start of my order I asked for light ice and they literally filled it up with so much ice it didn?t taste of anything. In the end I gave up and I now have a terrible tasting drink that I paid full price for.
