Unfortunately I won?t be donating furniture here, ever again. Sent a bedroom set that was very expensive and only 4 years old. Advised that they?d take a mirror and some framed wall art pictures beforehand only for the the collection driver to turn his nose up at them despite being less than a year old from Dunelm and M&S. It?s quite strange the way which charity shop staff don?t appreciate donations such as this and expect items as though entitled. Poor representation (the shop) of a local charity that does so much good (the hospice).

I turned up to shop here, after reading online that they are open till 4.30 p.m., and arrived at 3.55 p.m. The lights were on but the door was locked and nobody answered when I knocked.Inside was a black man talking on a mobile phone who initially tried to ignore me, but when I would not leave signalled for me to hit the road. I then knocked on the window and he tried to ignore me again but I stayed put, so he grudgingly came to the door. He then told me that they were shut and slammed the door in my face.If there was a decent reason for closing the store early he should have told me, but he gave no decent reason at all. It also advertised the closing time as 4.30 p.m. in the store window too, and false advertising is illegal in the U.K.Needless to say I will never shop here again.

They made it very easy to collect a piece of furniture for me. Delivery men were friendly and really helped me out last minute. They place a lot of emphasis on only collecting clean, safe, good-condition furniture so would be a great place to buy from. Thanks so much!
