There's tills upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs they're busy and the queue is very long but upstairs plenty of till space. The lady is too busy playing with tennis balls upstairs she couldn't serve me upstairs. Little things like these are annoying. No wonder people shop elsewhere for a speedy and kind service. Customer service skills are poor. Too busy doing irrelevant things for non existent customers

Some of the staff look like they can't stand their job, guy on the till didn't smile and answered my question with a 1 word answer and didn't say thank you, staff are super hard to find in this shop and now I know the rule of you can't take anything back that you've bought online anymore I think this will be the last time I'm shopping at Sports Direct, it's £5 to send back online by the way! And the staff don't exactly send off a welcoming vibe so what's the point anymore? TK Maxx here I come...

I?d give 0 stars if possible. The customer service at this store is absolutely shocking. Went to return some shoes they hadn?t even been taken out of the box I didn?t even want a refund just wanted to change them for something else. The middle aged male assistant was so rude and patronising basically said because I paid in cash I couldn?t have a refund or an exchange. So I said well what about people who don?t pay in card like the elderly I eventually got an exchange from a nice lady assistant but won?t ever shop there again. Disgusting

Avoid this store at all costs ! They treated me today like I was dirt on their shoe. The way Jordeen spoke to me was disgusting, accusing me of lying! Very rude and they don?t know the first thing about customer service ! I had to chase sales associates for help and this was when it was quiet. They would all rather hang around the till and talk amongst themselves! I won?t be returning EVER !

Heard about the atrocious treatment of a family member today - awful customer service who (judging by the low star review rating here) are a blight on Trafford Retail Park and the SD brand. You all clearly don't want your jobs or customers, and would rather sit behind the counter gossiping away. Shame on you and I doubt your store would remain open for long with an attitude such as yours.

Visited this store for the first time and the manager Arfan was not helpful at all as when i was asking where certain things are in the store, his response was that he has just been on holiday for 10 days so he doesn?t know, his tone was rude and abrupt. Disgusting behaviour from a so called manager who needs to get back to reality as he is not on holiday anymore, he is hanging clothes in sports direct and he needs to knowledgeable on the store stock not daydreaming as though he's sunbathing i will be writing a formal complaint to the shirebrook head office!

Worst service! Please avoid going to this store. No customer service at all. I asked a woman who was downstairs that where were the football shorts, she said all footballs are upstairs. The woman upstairs said they are downstairs ? At the payment counter, I asked the woman if she can check the shorts are available in store and showed her the sports direct website for reference
. She said they are upstairs, on the last stand. I said can you check if they are in stock, she said if you cannot see, it means we don?t have it. ?? All the staff needs to be changed.
