Openshaw branch was fantastic. I had an emergency appointment and they dealt with it wonderfully and professionally. I was greatly reassured. All staff were pleasant and professional. Much better than my previous branch of Specsavers.

Minimal waiting time, friendly staff, clean store, no hard sell on buying from them, though I did buy from them after having a few days to think and shop around.

Just don't.
Said my eyes were fine,, that my vision had deteriorated less than 0.5 amd thats what was causing my pain and light sensitivity.
Yeah,
Specasvers Ashton said that i had Unusually large pupils, never asked at openshaw (though I did tell them this was happening) that was very unusual to happen so suddenly and urgent.
Sent me to the eye hospitl emergency dept.
And yup, now being treated.
So nope, id give them a BIG SWERVE
Go to other local opticians or the SpecSavers Ashton.

They discarded my £400 glasses because I didn't pick them up quick enough,not even a email to let me know this was going to happen,I found out when I phoned them to make an appointment to pick them up!!!! Madness

Shocking experience. Arrived for appointment - after 30 min wait we were told glasses had not arrived. Rescheduled for 2 days later and had a shocking and rude response from manager and assistant manager. This was for a child.

They give me appointment lens 2 days after when i visited there to do a cancellation of my other appointment after half hour wait she told me ohh sorry we dont have the pair of lens for we have booked your appointment wasted my time my other appointments they dont care

Excellent Customer Service. I was in for an eye test yesterday 19/11/12 due to vision issues with my new glasses from elsewhere . All the staff were friendly and couldn?t have done more to help me choose a new frame more suited to the shape of my face. They explained why my current glasses were causing issues with my vision. Highly recommend this opticians
