Struggling with varifocals at work. Member of staff suggested I book an eye test and go for a pair of occasional glasses and a pair of varifocals.Got eye test and chose 2 frames.I can use a computer using my occasional glasses. My varifocals I use for driving and everyday tasks.Staff are amazing and the price was spot on.Thank you Specsavers ??

I can't thank the staff at Denton and Hyde enough for the care they have provided in the last few months.I went into Denton for an eye test knowing my vision had changed and I wasn't seeing as clearly as I had been. (I have been extremely short sighted with astigmatism in both eyes, since the age of 3, and needed complex varifoculs).I knew I had cateracts forming from a previous appointment over 12 months ago but it was still a shock (and distressing) to find that my vision and cateracts had become so bad that I was unsafe to drive.Specsavers recommended SpaMedica for my cateract surgery due to my complex prescription. I was referred and seen very quickly by SpaMedica thanks to Specsavers Denton.SpaMedica replaced the cateract impaired lens in my right eye with my distance prescription in the new lens.I could see clearly immediately through my new lens, but distance only. (I had to take the right lens out of my glasses as I no longer needed it).I gave my new lens (right eye) and glasses lens (left eye) a couple of days to adjust but was seeing double/ghosting caused by my new lens being "in" my eye (seeing bigger) than my glasses lens, a cm away from my left eye, making everything smaller. It was disorientating and unsafe!I went back to Specsavers Denton and they suggested a temporary fix (until I have my left eye cateract operation) of a monthly distance contact lens to wear "on" my left eye.I went to Specsavers at Hyde for the contact lens appointment because they could fit me in sooner, on a day convenient for me. I received the same excellent standard of care and customer service at Hyde.I have been wearing my left eye contact lens daily for the last month and it has completely resolved the discrepancy in the vision between my operated and non operated eye.All my after care, following my cateract surgery and my contact lens trial has been fantastic by Specsavers.They have now referred me back to Spamedica for cateract surgery on my left eye.Once complete I will no longer need the monthly contact lens but I will be going back to Specsavers for my aftercare, check up and any glasses I need for distance or reading.I cannot recommend them highly enough.Thanks to Specsavers my potentially distressing situation was resolved in a caring and professional way.Thank you

Couldn?t recommend this place highly enough. Staff are really friendly and helpful - make you aware of any offers that will save you money, and don?t just try and push the more expensive glasses onto you. They are honest too - I was served by Becky a few weeks ago and she told me which glasses didn?t suit me and which ones did, this helped me choose my new glasses a lot quicker than when I have previously tried to find suitable glasses on my own. We came again today with my wife who explained to the staff member that we were on a tight budget. The staff member (blonde lady, didn?t get her name) understood this and so helped my wife choose glasses within our budget, she also applied the offers of free eye test and free thinning which saved us over £75! My wife came away delighted with her new glasses and commented how friendly and helpful all the staff are within this branch. I?ve recommended this branch to several friends and family members now and I think Specsavers can be proud of the team they have here and hopefully recognise the role they are playing in providing excellent customer service.
