This is a very large venue with plenty of seating, attentive waiting staff and a very nice Japanese vibe to it.
The food was very tasty, with the only gripe from me being that the spicy tuna maki were a little too spicy for me. However, that's personal preference.
I can highly recommend both the tako and ika sashimi, as well as a the tonkatsu ramen and chicken gyoza, all of which were delicious.
The prices are reasonable too, but be aware that a service charge of 10% is included in the bill automatically, which is another bug bear of mine. Tipping should be optional. Stop putting it on the bill!

3 people, walk-in, 6pm for a pre-theatre meal.
Ordered 3 sides and 3 mains, waitress repeated our order correctly. 3 sides and 1 main turned up in good time. Our waitress didn't come back until 15 minutes later and we asked where our other mains were. The main that had arrived had been eaten and finished already at this point. She asked if we had ordered after she took our order which confused us... she then asked what our order was and went to I assume the kitchen. She stated it will be 5 minutes and apologied. We then waited an additional 15 minutes and we didn't even get to finish the late meals before we had to leave as we had a show to catch.
Only perk overall was that they allowed me to use my tastecard even though we didn't prebook.

We took our daughter for a midweek birthday celebration, and the food and attentiveness of the Samsi team was excellent. Absolutely love eating at Samsi!

What a lovely restaurant! I turned up with the ten year old, we were treated royally and ate accordingly. Great katsu curry, lovely quality sushi and a perfect pint of Asahi

Had a lovely experience at Samsi! The food was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Great service all around. Highly recommend!

Shocking experience. More akin to a cheap fast food restaurant than a sit down restaurant.
The food advertised online is not available in the restaurant even though they easily could have made the dishes up as they had the ingredients. .
The serving staff were struggling with even the most basic requests. Can?t do, won?t do!
The hot food came out 30 min before the sushi, so we couldn?t eat together.
They then tried to clear plates and drinks that weren?t empty and while others were still eating.
The food was ok but nothing special. Plenty of restaurants in the area do better and cheaper food.
All in all an awful experience.
