On the night of July 27th at 10:30 PM, the female staff member completely ignored me, even though there was an issue at my till and I greeted her. In the end, it was the security guard who came to help me. Before today, I?ve always been very happy shopping at this Sainsbury?s, but today I was really, really angry. One of the best things about this shop is that it stays open at night.

Super convenient. It?s never crowded and usually has everything that I want. A bit pricey but Nectar has decent discounts every week so I?m satisfied. Recently picked up an Argos order here and the staff were super friendly and quick with it.

I?m an Asian international student and had an awful experience here on May 9th. A male staff member refused to sell me wine after checking my passport, claiming my visa was expired ? which is absolutely false. My full student visa is valid until 2026 via BRP/eVisa. He clearly didn?t understand the documents and treated me like I wasn?t legally here.
It felt like I was being singled out and discriminated against because of my ethnicity. I was humiliated in public for no valid reason. This was not just ignorance ? it was unacceptable. Staff need urgent training on both UK law and how to treat people with respect.

Horrible service, won't sell me my drink because they don't accept my BRP card clearly stating that I'm over 20, asking me to bring out my passport just to get that one bottle. Sure, just buy the same thing from Morrisons next door.

Awful place. White woman who is manager seems likely racist and she closes the store 5 minutes early while only refusing brown customers. Brown British beware of this local grocery.

Slow to get going. Opens at 6, not sure what they do in first 2 hours. I often go in at 8am, no sandwiches etc unpacked onto shelves. Presume aim for later students but useless for hospital staff. Can't wait for Morrisons to reopen on 29th.

Ordered through Uber eats for delivery, among other mistakes, I ordered Mars Ice cream bar pack and received a single mars bar chocolate. Hardly like for like.
