Okay, I'm getting on a bit, but still class myself, as an over 60s stylish man. River Island has definitely come on in leaps and bounds. Mens fashion, has a new look and feel. Colourful styles of suits and jackets, easy wear trousers and t-shirts. Some are a reasonable price, and some are out priced, but all in all, definitely worth a visit. Congratulations to the new fashion and design of the store aswell, and yes they will also sell you a coffee, whilst waiting for your partner or friend, to appear from the changing rooms. Definitely worth going in, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Wow wow wow!!! I don?t know who?s been on the Design Team lately but everything was insanely beautiful - from the clothes to the shoes to the accessories.
The store is very well presented & clean with a special credit to the changing rooms. Love the digital shopping assistant.
I haven?t shopped in RI in years as I?d never really liked the styles but it?s been amazing lately.??

Seana was an absolute star she was bubbly friendly and helpful. I came to collect an item from store and I asked her how it looked on me as I thought it was too big. Seana gave me her honest opinion. We did go to menswear to look at some things the staff on menswear weren?t as helpful so we ended back on womenswear to pay for everything. Seana is an asset to your team I wish all your team members were like that we would of spent more money

Got to the check out after waiting a while where i was greeted with a lovely girl (not) who decided she was having a bad day and took it out on a customer. I paid with cash the total came to £48.10 so i paid £50 and 10 pence to make the girls job easier. She then gives me the 10 pence back but i explain that it saves her counting out lots of change and she could just give me 2 pounds. She gave me the 2 pounds but instead of putting them into my hand she threw them onto the counter very clearly on purpose and then decided to just throw the bag at me without saying a word. Now very annoyed I said ?you?re very happy aren?t you? she replied with ?yes?. Clearly not trained to be polite to customers nevermind having manners. I simply tried to make the girls job easier but instead of acknowledging that she threw it back in my face - quite literally. Absolutely disgusted.

Love the place. Easy to try on clothes, if you don't want to be served by someone can use the self service, it's such a good idea. Love the clothes, honestly could spend a fortune in here. The store is clean and staff seem friendly too.

Response to previous review. I had the same experience with the bald, tall manager with glasses. He is very rude to other staff members! You?re meant to work as team.This is not acceptable behaviour! Seeing this as a customer is horrible. Will never be coming back again.He better get fired!!!!!
