Not a regular RI shopper - but I must say I was impressed.
I had a fantastic experience shopping in the menswear section at River Island recently, thanks to a brilliant team member who truly went above and beyond. The mixed-race female staff member assisting me was incredibly helpful from start to finish. She made the entire process of trying on and purchasing feel effortless, with a warm, professional attitude that really stood out. Her attention to detail and genuine care made the try-on experience feel premium, and her product knowledge made it easy to find exactly what I was looking for. Excellent customer service like this makes all the difference ? thank you

Went to return a pair of shoes ( boots) at the store that I'd only worn for 3 weeks and they had started to come away at the bottom after paying £50 I wasn't expecting this to happen with such an expensive pair of shoes especially when there meant to be such a high quality store. The store assistant who spoke to us had a bad attitude and said "if you just let me speak and you can have your say" which I found quite rude and unprofessional, after I had stated the refund policy to them and requesting to have a full cash refund and not a credit store note he then proceeded to do so through gritted teeth as I thought And asked his manager to come over to process the refund. The manager was happy to do the refund but didn't say nothing to us or apologise. Will not be shopping here anytime soon. Poor quality shoes with an expensive price tag.

Great Service and Convenient Self-Checkout
I had a fantastic experience shopping at River Island. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff who assisted both me and my wife. I was in the Manchester Arndale store today. Emilia, who was working in the fitting rooms was absolutely amazing. I needed a different size and she went above and beyond to ensure I got the right sizes. Will definitely visit this store again.

I always get my work jeans from here they are cheap and long lasting. Always recommended for jeans and standard t-shirts.

A couple of weeks of ago on a Friday I was in this store and I lost my hand bag I was so upset but the VN team and the other staff where amazing they all had so much empathy. They sat me down and calm me down while they where locking for it and thankful it was found I could not thank each member of staff for the kindness they showed me. Such an amazing team how they looked after me

Awful shopping experience because the music was so incredibly loud! Even through my noise cancelling headphones it was too loud. And not even nice relaxing music, it was very chaotic and drove me insane. From most clothes only very small sizes in the store. However, I must say the fitting rooms are revolutionary. I can't even explain it, just go and try it because it's amazing.
