This post office has been taken under new management. I was thoroughly impressed with the excellent customer service and respect shown. An incredible improvement against previous management.

Rarely open when they say they are, staff often late so definitely avoid going first thing in the morning. Sometimes they don't even have the right labels to put on my returns which means I literally can't return the items without going to a different post office. I agree with other reviewers about the young girl but generally the staff are really nice especially the guy. The other post office on Middleton road (next to state fayre bakery) is much nicer and they always have what I need. It's just a shame that this one is technically my local but 9 times out of 10 I'll just go to the other one to save disappointment. The shop itself is great though.

Unfortunately as every other reviewer has commented. The young lady is incredibly rude.I want to clarify as there is a skinnier , pretty one who is actually lovely. It?s the chubbier owners daughter who everyone has a problem with. Sorry if that?s rude but don?t want to cause any confusion.This lady really needs to realise she?s working for life in a corner shop and start treating people a bit better.Incredibly arrogant for someone who is clearly not very clever.

I?ve been coming to this post office and shop for years and the young lad that works here is very nice! But OMG the young girl that works here! Idk who raised her or even trained her! She?s the rudest and the most arrogant young lady I?ve ever came across! If I ever see her working I would never go in! 100%!

FYI to all - The Post Office closes at 17:30 (NOT 19:00 as it says online) Frustrating after making the trip solely for that gone half 5.. writing this so others don?t make my mistake

Glad I?ve seen the other reviews as I thought I was going crazy.The staff here are absolutely horrific. Special mention to the owners daughter who is always incredibly rude to myself and other customers in the shop. Constantly saying nasty things about customers and even there own family.I really don?t get why they are like this, just really horrible people.I now avoid this place like the plague and go to the more expensive petrol station across the road

Wrong opening times. The opening times are for the shop not the post office, which closes 5.30pm weekdays, 2.30pm Saturday and closed on Sunday.

Post office is never open, last few times I went I was told it?s closed due to staff shortage despite having opening times till 6pm.Also unhelpful and rude staff that make you feel unwelcome.

Rude attitude from the young woman workingTakes her issues out on customers and doesn't know how to speak with etiquette.Worst communication I've ever seen. Sarcastic comments like shes doing me a favour. Definatelyneed to work on your customer service..and from the looks of things, it's not just me that has noticed this.. maybe the management need to look into this as shes definately a discredit to the business
