A great spot for a fab Sunday dinner- meat eater and vegetarian we?re both impressed! It was a tasty spread of vegs and Yorkshire puds. The atmosphere was warm, stylish while keeping it relaxed in a unique dinning spot in Prestwich. We are sooo lucky to have you in the neighbourhood OSMA! Sunday roast is one thing but the creativity of the menu that changes each week is remarkable and delicious!

Have been twice, once for the 3 course lunch menu and once for the small plate evening fare and every single dish was excellent. Rapidly becoming one of my favourite restaurants.

osma has a great atmosphere. The ever changing menu never fails to please with amazing flavours and unusual combinations of ingredients. The ribeye last might was amazing.

Osma is our favourite restaurant. Small plates to die for with a menu that changes weekly and reflects seasonal changes. The food is incredible and the service is warm and welcoming. We?ve never had anything other than a brilliant time at Osma and never even a bad dish!
Cocktails are fantastic, the brown butter old fashioned being an absolute favourite of mine. Great wine list too.
If you?re looking for a Sunday roast there is no better. All the roast choices are perfectly cooked and served on your plate while the veg and trimmings are served family style for the table. Plenty to go round and so perfectly prepared, the veggies are every bit as delicious as the meat. Perfect roasties and huge Yorkshires that actually taste of something and not just a carrier for the gravy. Any day of the week is a good day to eat at Osma.

Enjoyed our visit to Osma, 4 people seating so we had one of everything on the menu. Some of the stand outs were the celeriac and the smoked baby carrots! Would recommend a visit!!

When we began going here, the restaurant had an assistant manager (Cant remember his name) - Super-pleasant guy from Merseyside, to whom nothing was too much trouble and his excellent service added to the overall experience - however he left and about a year ago the restaurant took on a new Assistant manager, Elese Finney, who previously was a waitress at Rendition - a restaurant in Manchester which went bankrupt after just 18 months - with lots of reviews of poor service.... so great credentials then... Since she joined, an atmosphere has descended the warmth of the venue has disappeared- on arrival We were taken to a tall table for 4 in the corner - but spotted a standard table for 2 by the window - when we asked if we could have that instead, Arron went to check - and was told by Elese - NO - that one is booked... Arron then took our order and made the same standard statement the 'We cook the meat medium rare / Pink here - is that ok for you..... yes, that perfect, just how we like it.. We ordered a drink each and a £44 bottle of Wine and the starters came - a superb Mushroom risotto and after finishing 30 mins had now passed and the high table was aggravating my bad back - yet the low table for 2 was still empty - and another had become available - but no offer for us to move - so we asked again and with a little eye-rolling we were 'permitted' to swap tables. The real problem began when the main course arrived - 1 X lamb - Well-Done and dry, not medium rare, and a beef which was pink - but with lots of fat - making it really tough to chew. we called Elese over and pointed out what was wrong (while also stating that we had never sent back food at OSMA previously ) and without even a hint of apology we were told..'Well you'll have to wait another 30 mins if you want lamb' - which we accepted. When the replacement food was brought to the table the beef was better - although a smaller portion - but the Lamb was now so rare it was raw and almost bleeding. By Now we had been in the restaurant almost an hour and we were both very hungry so my wife left the lamb and just ate a few of the accompanying veg. When Arron returned to clear the plates - he saw all of the lamb untouched and asked if there was a problem (no-one checked in with us previously) we explained that it was now so rare it was inedible. After ordering 1 desert, I asked for the bill - £118 for Sunday lunch for 2 - with the uneaten lamb dinner still on the bill - still the manager / Asst manager didn't come to the table to talk about the problems we'd experienced, so my wife approached Elese as we left and explained that the service we had received was very poor - to which she replied ' We served you 4 perfectly good meals today - which you chose not to eat - that's your problem not ours - see... the owners family are all there in the corner and had the same as you and said that their meals were perfect..." We were both taken aback by how shockingly poor the customer experience was. So here's the thing - Between 5pm and 7pm (Peak sunday lunch time) the restaurant was half empty (but a reservation system saying they are full) - I have read the tripadvisor reviews from the past 6 months and many mention the terrible service and attitude of Elese. It would be a terrible shame if OSMA followed Elese's previous employer Rendition - for the same reasons. We are also regulars at Hawksmoor in Manchester where in c20 visits, we have had 2 occasions where the food wasnt up to scratch (so 90% positive) but there handling of it was exemplary - removing the problem dish from the bill and comping the wine... did we go back... of course and we still do.... To Quote the great, late Gary Rhodes..." Great food will bring them through the door... but great service will keep them coming back' Well we wont be coming back - as good as Danielle's food is (normally) - its just not worth being treated this badly - there are too many other good options available where the service is simply not...Elese.

A 5 star rating doesn't do OSMA justice.
Between the food and service, OSMA achieve something so few restaurants ever do... Truly a perfect experience from the moment you step in the door.
Every member of staff adorned with a smile, enjoying their job, taking care in the detail and sharing the love and passion they have.
The chef and owner still cooks and did so they day we visited and the Sunday 3 course meal is a steal at just over £30 a head (not including drinks). Let me recommend the wild mushroom soup, which if I could steal the recipe for I would in a heartbeat!
And one other thing, the value is incomparable as there is so much food here for £30 it's untrue! And this lovely restaurant is in the Michelin guide!!! A truly superb restaurant everyone in Manchester must visit.
