From liverpool and have played this course numerous times in winter with my friends never had to use them stupid matts on there we anyway we booked for Monday just gone no mention of this on tee times if so would not have booked upon arrival was sign 6 7th hole 1 first hole temp greens were absolutely soaking wet balls just plugging foot marks allover them course itself was like a mudbath should have been closed then to top it off were confronted by members who gave us the most disgusting abuse because we wasn't using matts were told to get back to liverpool and we only being awkward because liverpool got beat by united and many more comments which I can not write because they so offensive as I first stated 2 holes close temp green needed wellies to play there really so why the big fuss about matts would advise anyone who thinking about playing here don't after my last experience and abuse from members

They ran out of bottles of prosecco and went to Aldi to buy more. They then sold it from the bar at £23 a bottle!! Otherwise everything was great. Just don't like being ripped off ?

Visited on a club "away day". Course in great condition. Played 27 holes but hard and tiring walking. Hilly, with some LONG PLAYING parr 4's. 36 hole lithium battery went flat with 2 holes to play. Current drain??

After the weather we have had, course stood up really well. I really enjoyed this mature parkland course, with greens true and tricky. I would love to play this course again now I know my way around.

Staff were lovely. Room was very nice. Food was good. Car park was a mud bath.
