Review edited after much appreciated personal response below.
A small chain with a bit of that feeling but the prices are a bit high. Not much direct competition in the area. Always a decent option when in a rush.
The ladies who work here are always nice and friendly.
Vegetarian options: Short of hot vegetarian options at breakfast.

Overpriced, bad service with mediocre food. Paid 5.95 for a coffee, brownie and sandwich. Sign said coffee and tea included in the deal. Staff disagreed for flipping ages. Told me I?m getting a bargain ? and then younger lady made the coffee and I burnt myself picking it up because it was over filled. Coffee was meh. The egg mayo sandwich was filled with onion? Weird choice. Just disappointed all round. Also not accessible by wheelchair as there?s a step and no automatic door. Doubtful the staff will help you either.

Food quality is very poor and very over priced. Pies and sausage rolls are always greasy. 3 out of 10 for staff friendliness.

Decent food, the eclairs are really nice, bit expensive now though. Also they used to do good birthday cakes which they've stopped doing which is a shame

I went in here for the first time and will be my last bought a egg and bacon barm dry has anything bacon burned hard roll and the older woman what served me was really ignorant wouldent speak thay need to learn some people skills in here and be nice and friendly to there customers

Very poor.After paying £2.80 for a stale sausage barm in a packet that was barley warm and looked like it had been kicked with a steel toe cap boot I didn?t even get served by a person with any manners. Not Evan a ?thanks for overpaying for that pathetic excuse of a sandwich? never again for me.

Martins has gone from strength to strength over the pandemic. The sandwiches are great, the fresh bread Is superb, and the fresh stuff like the bacon and sausages are top notch. The staff are brilliant, can?t fault the place at all.

Service was good but the pasties were like the cardboard you get in the bottom of a pizza box. I got 2 of them a veggie curry and a Jamaican one and they tasted the same unfortunately just a different shape. I?ve given it 2 out of five because the server was polite
