The service I have received is shocking. Do not use this agency!!The only thing this agent is good at is taking your money.My apartment Got neglected under their care and I end up paying all the cost to get it back to the standard it was in before I gave it to Martin &co they did not do any checks on the flat while tenants was living there my tenants complained that when ever we need help there is no response from them I could go on and on and on it was a nightmare.I never get any information out of them regardless how many times I call them in the last 2 years my tenants was start to call me for any help they need but I still have to pay every month to Martin &coI have been chasing for some money which I was due to get it back from them which never arrived to me it?s been a few month , They never get back to me like they say they will. I am constantly having to fight for things to be done. Their agency fees are considerably higher than others. It's money for nothing!If You are a landlord I wouldn't use them. Thanks to Martin and Co not regularly inspecting the property?s under their care my flat has been ruined!The staff working in the office have a don't care attitude. I would never advise anyone to use them use another agency please!

I cannot understand some of the negative reviews here. James and Craig at the chorlton branch have been incredibly kind and helpful and made my renting experience as a foreign student seamless and wonderful!! They are true gems and have gone above and beyond to help with anything I needed. Really cannot recommend enough!

Unprofessional, incompetent, patronising staff. 1 star seems too much. Incapable of responding to emails. Brought in squatters into our property and refusing to take any responsibility for the issues we've had. They've not even paid a months rent. We have no confirmation of the deposit paid either other than just their word.

a friend of mine was renting 7 Vicars Road, for about £1000 pcm. He moved out in December but Martin & Co charged £300 for a supposed furniture removal, turns out the furniture is still being used by the occupants of the house.Last but not least, the house had damp problems in the kitchen but the landlord refused to do anything about it same with the letting agency. I don?t recommend using Martin & Co for things like this.

Would never ever rent a property through Martin Martin Co ever again,contacted numerous times with issues of leaking roof in a property we rented were told our landlady had gone of the radar multiple times,which turned out to be lies as there is email proof and phone records of how much contact they made with her.we were left to live in a damp property and used the excuse of covid to try cover there tracks.the negative reviews are all true,and the professionalism of them is shown in how they reply here.keep well we'll away!!Edit:not sure why Martin and Co against landlady again claiming it wouldn't make sense to ignore repair requests that were accepted.the ombudsman I Believe clearly favoured the landlady's version of events...

I have had a great experience with this company - in particular, I'd like to shout out James who was super friendly, professional, helpful & knowledgable. I'm sure many might agree that sometimes conversations with estate agents aren't the best, but James was an absolute star and totally restored my faith in the profession. Please take a look at the photos taken for the flat they are currently marketing on Rightmove in Demesne Road, Whalley Range for £650 pcm. There are no pictures of the lounge/living area or bathroom. Instead, they've just done close up pictures of each of the windows, the number on the front door of the flat, a very small storage space holding just a single chair, a microwave, the toilet and base of the shower unit. Please do not just take my word for it and look it up yourself.

I feel cheated even giving them a star.I would take heed of any of the supposed 5 star reviews as there is no chance any of these are genuine reviews.Awful letting agents, don?t have a clue in what they?re saying and seem to chance everything and charge a premium too.Regardless of how good the property they?re offering seems I?d avoid like the plague.

Had a rollercoaster ride with Martin & Co. In the end they were on my side and helped get my deposit back. I/them were dragged into a bit a sticky situation and I'm just glad they helped me and that the team stuck to their guns in getting the deposit back, as I was rightly entitled to it!

I have been renting an apartment through Martin and Co for over two years. I have found them to be an excellent estate agency. The staff are very helpful. I have dealt mostly with James, who is extremely friendly and is very helpful. Any issues that arose during my tenancy, were quickly rectified.I would highly recommend this agency.
