Very disappointed- this was my fav hotel which I stay in to visit family and friends. The breakfast was terrible, the renovation works were beyond atrocious. The noise the smell the dirty work men all around the hotel the dirt the mess. Staff were lovely though.They put us in what they called a Newley renovated room. Well if broken tiles in the shower and old laminate flooring is your idea of renovation then?!Wouldn?t book again until after renovation are finished and would still need to check to see if the standard had returned.Was told the dining area was also due to be upgraded - it needs it.Walkability: Great location right my Piccadilly train station.Food & drinks: Loads of near by places - China town only a short 10 min walk. M&S in the station.

Love love love it here, sad about no bananas or kiwis at breakfast, that's the only gripe I have, the beds were so comfy, didn't want to get up to go for breakfast. Rooms very clean.Nearby activities: Loads to do in Manchester, great stay for venues.Walkability: 10 minute walk to 02 ApolloFood & drinks: We didn't use the bar but breakfast was good.

Short walk from Manchester Piccadilly station, brilliant service from Vlad - went out of his way to offer the best service possible, really made my stay worthwhile. Delicious breakfast. Great view of the city.

Booked this hotel by accident. Tried to request refund like 3 months ago but hotel did not give me the refund nor even give me a different day.. I always use to book this hotel when visiting Manchester, but cant give a refund to someone who has booked it by mistake and telling you guys 3 months before !!...

Due to an event that occurred during our stay, I must give high praise to the hotel. The day after we checked in, on February 15th, I was preparing to report to the front desk that the heating was not working properly. As I left my room(#416), I happened to meet the housekeeping staff coming to clean our room. I took the opportunity to consult with this young female employee and mentioned that the cold weather in the UK was making us uncomfortable. Not only did she kindly explain how to operate the heating, but she also offered to provide an additional portable heater if needed. When we returned to the room later that day, it was tidily arranged - with an extra heater added. At that moment, despite the cold in Manchester, my wife and I felt warmly comforted, and it made our stay much more comfortable for the next few days. I do not know the name of the employee, but we are very grateful for her proactive assistance. I hope the hotel sees this message and, in addition to conveying our thanks to her, can also acknowledge her work positively!

Stayed here in August because of its proximity to the station. Made it very convenient for my business trip. The staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. I will be choosing this hotel for my future business stays.

Ordered pizza in the hotel restaurant. Very disappointed to be given a Chicago town pizza.£16 for something I could buy for £4 from a supermarket£6 for a lager shandy and it had bits floating in the drink.

Such a strange stay. Stayed for 3 nights at end of December 2023. Hotel was being renovated, which was fine and I understood that workarounds were in place. However, there was an issue with the booking system. I paid in advance but on the second day got told by the cleaner that my room was supposed to be empty (news to me!), then later in the day I had reception repeatedly knock on my door to tell me that the system had the room as empty. No real apology and because the room system had been messed up, they'd retrospectively extended my booking so I had to pay city tax when checking out (despite already having paid up front). For the sake of £2 I really didn't have the will. The room was ok, quite big and location is great. The restaurant was odd and felt dated but maybe the renovation will sort that. Mixed experience with the staff, bar staff lovely. But no real privacy and constant knocking on my door even when I didn't answer and was trying to relax. It was far from relaxing!

Location good! Breakfast good! It was randomly cold in my hotel room eventhough I kept turning the heat up, there was a space heater but I had to have that on all night to feel warm in the room. There was no extra blanket in closet to grab either. Otherwise a lovely stay but that was a bit strange.

Booked a spa day package with afternoon tea.Spa was absolutely outstanding and the staff were very efficient and professional.Afternoon tea was really well presented and delicious.Great value.Parking available for £, 15 at the hotel the only drawback is that the postcode is not straightforward a bit of a struggle to find the place.
