Went to Lidl yesterday and picked up some chicken breast only to notice it had gone out of date the day before. Got a refund from the assistant who didn't seem to care.

I've been visiting this Lidl for years now and something must have happened in previous year as much of it has gone downhill.
Now, whilst most staff are really friendly and polite and do take their time with doing things right for themselves and customer; there's one guy who always seems to be at the cashier's and looks on edge every single time I'm there.
He's stressed and rude whilst rushing people, some don't notice, many do!
And on top of it all better not to say anything as he's got an attitude of a teenager, which is really sad for a grown man to display!
We all have bad mornings, but he has been having a bad mornining day after day by the looks of it for a year.
He was jumpy again today, asking me about how much a product (seasoning) costs, and upon not being sure right away about the price, he proceeded to throw them down on the floor next to him and saying that he can't sell them to me, literally not giving me 3 seconds to think!
After I've finally remembered the price and asked him if I can now have products in question back, he decided to throw a child's tantrum how he's currently counting rice packs I purchased and I should wait for him, and eventually grabbing seasoning before slamming them on the checkout.
So, instead of acting on his low level, I just told him I didn't want to rush or stress him out by talking and asking about items I'm actually paying for.
People in line behind me were all looking at him shaking their heads unsure what he's going on about.
Not to forget, he was having a few sighs and rolling eyes with an older couple in front of me as they were slow to get things done, but they didn't seem to notice.
Word of advice; he has to leave his attitude at home in bed or not work with people/customers.
Rest assured I will stop the whole queue next time to get a manager out to sort this kind of behavior that nobody his age should display at any time and definitely not in an environment he is in!

Don?t know if the store is under a new manager but standards have dropped massively since our last visit a month or so ago. Lots of empty shelves, empty freezers, the ?Taste of America? was well under stocked. Only 2 cashiers on and they were clearly anxious that their relief colleagues hadn?t turned up for their 2pm shift. While serving me one was ringing colleagues asking ever they were and apparently they weren?t supposed to start until 3pm. This was at 2:05 pm. Shambles.

absolutely appalled with customer services called in the shop to pick up several items one of the items wasn't on the shelf there where to members of staff taking at the bottom of the aisle so ask if they could check the warehouse to see if the item was in
Only to be told YES in a minute they went into the warehouse and left me standing there for 10 minutes when I checked the door of the warehouse I could see them still taking
At this point I got fed-up of waiting so I left
But quite happy as I got all the items from aldi
I think the service needs to be improved

Beware of parking charges (max stay 90mins)
Recently started to shop at Lidl as I liked the app and offers but after recieving a £90 fine for staying 10minutes longer than max time which is written in small print on signs and not very clear I certainly haven't had this amount of savings despite spending almost £300 in store so I will be back to Aldi for my regular shopping I'm afraid. Poor for Lidl needs to be clearer.
