Great shop hit and miss with stock sometimes, especially at weekend

Zero star. Unpleasant experience. Some people working here are rude (and racists). Went in today at 3:50pm Sunday (10min before closing). There was another guy (a white male) coming in at the same time. Two cashiers stopped us and said they are closed. The other customer ignored them and just came in. I stopped and told them there is still 10 min. One of the cashiers still refused me to come in. I told him there is another guy already in and they said then he won?t be served. I asked: how can you not serve that guy if you don?t even know who he is. Then the cashier asked his colleague if there was anyone else came in. His colleague pointed at me with her finger, and said: no it?s just this guy. I was refused to come in during their working hours, and selectively refused in and publicly humiliated, simply because I responded to them, if not because of my race. Won?t come again. If they close at 3:50 on Sunday, they should post that. If they close at 4, they should not stop letting people in until 4.

Compliments to George of Till #1 at Lidl Councillor Lane on 22 August, 2024 this afternoon. Just bought several items at this supermarket a few hours ago. Forgot to put a piece of loose ginger in my shopping bag. George was the nice guy who kept the ginger for my collection. Thank you!
