At checkout I got asked if I had something from the mini bar. I didn?t consume anything. Later the day I got charged a chocolate bar without being asked if that was me.Assuming that I would have actively told a lie without consulting me again is a really bad customer service. Now I need to actively invest time to get my money back although it?s the hotels mistake.The location is central and good for party people but you be to consider that it can get very loud in the streets.

Only popped in for coffee, loved it! It's fabulous, I live in Manchester so don't need a Hotel.From what I saw, very, very, impressed. The restrooms were immaculate, with quality products, hand-wash, hand cream, it was sparkling.Lovely location, I just stepped off the train from trip out, across the bridge, met my friend in there. Reasonably priced good coffee. Staff very nice also. ? 5*

By far one of my favourite hotels in Manchester! Loveeee the suit with the bath tubs. Super clean and modern rooms. Welcoming and friendly service. Great location and within walking distance to shopping centre.Highly recommend!

Brilliant, reasonably priced hotel located close to amenities. We were delighted to be kindly upgraded free of charge,such a lovely suprise. Staff were super friendly and the room was clean, modern and comfortable. Would definitely return and recommended to others.

Fantastic hotel, we had a room with split levels and an accessible terrace.Big plus was they accept dogs and don't charge extra like some "dog friendly" hotels.Car Park and train stations are close by.Only slightly negative point was the carpet in the living room area has seen better days.

We stayed in room 106 last night, the room was the other side of the reception desk and bar. This is where the problems started, all we could hear constantly was banging and loud laughter through the walls. Following this we continued to be disturbed during our sleep by various things 1. Screaming outside the room 2. Chanting and shouting from nearby bars 3. What sounded like someone using a radio directly outside the room 4. Being situated on the main entrance to all the rooms meant you could hear every coming and going through the night 5. An ambulance parked directly outside the room for hours with its lights flashing 6. A fan from the chinese restaurant opposite which was on until 2am and was extremely loud, next there were some issues with general cleanliness one being lipstick on the towels and another being greasy handles and touch points that felt like they'd never been wiped. Overall the room was a decent size but that's the only positive I'm able to take away from my experience staying with Leven. Really disappointed and don't think it was worth the £180 we paid for one night! And yes, we did try the ear plugs given but this didn't change anything as even the levels passed through them! Also, the blinds are fitted forwards so when they're down there's a big gap between the blind and the window which meant the light can't flooding in. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you like to sleep! A really poor experience, I'd urge people to look at other hotels in the area such as whitworth locke which is a much more pleasant stay.

Loved it here! It's a fairly new place. The staff are great, really friendly. A good selection of drinks and cocktails. It's definitely a really nice addition to the village that's not loud and full, I'll definitely be going backUpdate Dec 2023, they have updated the cocktail menu, and tweaked a few that were a bit sweet, fantastic staff and service as usual!

Highly recommend!!Great location, staff were really friendly and helpful. Nice bar downstairs with gooood cocktails!Rooms were spacious and clean, bathrooms super modern and well equipped.Will be staying again!
