I have never been to this store over the years (even though driving past for years!). However my recent first experience was really very positive. I dealt mostly with the Manager (Steve) who was excellent. Well trained in the art of management and leadership suppprted by what seemed like lots of experience. He made it a very pleasant customer service experience. Well worth checking out.

You would assume that the brand owner of Johnstone paints would charge you less for Thier products. I was quoted with trade discount £38 for a 5 litre tin of Thier trade stormseal white masonry paint, whilst Thier competitor was offering the same make for £25, only then did they match the price. The paints are good, but "watch out" for Thier in-store prices can be "excessive"

Whilst I was searching for my products at the crumpsall branch in Manchester.A young lady by the name of Briony one of the sales assistants ,could not have been more helpful and she was very pleasent in the way she dealt with my enquiry .Making me feel very comfortable, she was also very knowledgeable and certainly has great customer focus. I even said to her at one point they should have one of you in every Johnstone's branch .Her suggestions from the products you sell ,made it so easy for me to choose and then she had to sort out what i thought was a complicated transaction with the vouchers.I ended up getting all what went in for so thank you Briony

I ordered 2 rolls of wallpaper..it was due last week..then 2 days ago..nothing..i called many times..nobody anwer..then the manager contact me..." it will be delivred today at yours before 5 pm..it s half 7. And nothing .really the worst ever experience.zero on custumer service...staff couldn' t be less interest in you...speechless really .avoid that place..plus the place it's so rundown ..looks like you are in Kabul in the 70s...terrible experience
