Very unhappy experience with Halfords.
Got my car in for service and MOT.
They found a fault and it was DPF, diesel particular filter needs cleaning. They recommended me to go to a manufacturer to do this.
But the funny thing is Halfords themselves offers DPF cleaning.
And a further ridiculous thing is they couldn?t carry out the service due to the fault but they still went ahead and done a failed MOT and charged me.
How ridiculous is that?!

I have just got back from an MOT on my little Hyundai. Very, very impressed with the guys at this branch, all friendly and helpful and in my case I would also say they went above and beyond for no extra charge.
Completely the opposite experience to a couple of reviews below - so don't be put off by them. Personally I can't speak highly enough. Thank you!

Don't waste your time with this garage. Booked my car in here and it was kept for most of the day for what should be a 1-2 hour job, leaving me without a car, only for me to ring and be told they couldn't do the service it was booked in for and they failed to ring me to inform me of this claiming they tried to contact me when they infact hadn't.
Staff are extremely unhelpful and wasted my time instead of contacting me, won't be using them again.

Not a fan anymore bought 4 new tyres cost me a lot when the car was given back the tyres looked cheap rubbish not cleaned for the customer left with some crap they use on them also it was not mentioned about card only which means cash is no good which I had on me and not except the job was done so I walk back home to get my card I was given the option to get my old tyres back on sorry chose that place

Very easy to make booking and make changes if needed online. Staff are friendly and efficient. Price is reasonable.

Quoted 1100 for fixes post MOT by these crooks. Took to a different garage and was quoted 160.
Originally took the car to a different Halfords for a service who said it was all good and would pass an MOT. So inconsistent between the branches which leads me to believe that these guys are total scammers.
They definitely tried to fleece me, probably because I?m a young woman.
Sleezy men in this place. Avoid avoid avoid.

My Tesla drove as straight as an arrow when I took it in but when I picked it up it pulls to the right!!!
So I?ve tried several times to get into contact with Ruth with no success trying to make a complaint but the woman who took the phone call didn?t seem bothered!!!

Got brakes checked today on a busy Saturday but didn?t feel rushed through and when I picked up my car the two guys I spoke to at the reception explained exactly what was found, options for next steps and they had taken the time to do what they could to fix the issue there and then when the part needed wasn?t available so I could still use my car and I definitely noticed an improvement, can?t fault the customer service would definitely recommend coming here
