Took my bike last week to repair and service. Bike mechanic asked me when I had it serviced last time and I said 3 months ago. He said take it to Halfords white city where I had service last time as we are short of mechanics as one is having a baby next week.If you want us to do then leave your bike for 10 days atleast and we'll ring you.It's pathetic and so unprofessional. This was the first time I went to Halfords Cheetham hill but probably last. I will stick to White city Halfords.

Do not go to this branch at Manchester Fort unless you want to be verbally abused by the staff .and I mean getting called the F word.I went to get my light fixed after having paid once already for the same job, the bulb came out of the holder again , so now I have 2 bulbs just loose in the casing.and they were not accepting that they had done the work despite me providing a receipt ,the woman on the till looked angry when serving me, looking at me with disgust. Don?t get me wrong some of their staff are very polite and courteous , but the new ones are giving Halfords a bad image.I am sure if you look a certain way you will be looked down upon with this staff at this particular branch.Sue the manager was just as bad. I did not receive an apology and referred it to their complaints department.
I had been a customer at this branch for over 15 years now I won?t be returning.

Ordered for new number plates and fitting. The front plate fell off only the next day when I was driving to work. You can see from the sticker marks they didnt even put the stickers properly thats why the plate fell off. Was just an easy job but still the guy managed to fail, he taking the piss or something? The fitting is not free, I paid for that, why would you charge for unprofessional service?
I called to ask for refund, they said I need to go to the store again to process a refund. That means I need to drive without number plate for 2 more trips? Is Halfords paying for me if I get fined? Just absolutely awful service from my experience.

Showed up to collect a bike purchased a few days ago and was kept waiting unnecessarily for over 10 mins at the till despite 2 members of staff just standing there doing nothing. No apology made for the wait. Had paid for bike to be built but when i reached home I discovered bakes were too tight and saddle was loose. Almost resulted in my 6 year old taking a tumble. Shocked and disgusted at lack of service and will not be returning...

Yet again Halfords and the staff at Halfords Fort Manchester knock it out of the park! Placed an order on lin at around 1400, told it would not be ready for collection until tomorrow 1600. Got text at 17.30 order ready for collection, arrived at shop round 1800, less than 5 mins later on my way home to fit part! Better yet HALF the price of Eurocarparts and friendly staff to boot! Thanks again, Will.
