This was my first experience with Halfords and can?t praise Si and Paul enough at Longley lane. I work 20 miles away from where I live near Northenden and they went over and above to ensure my car was up and running in super quick time so I could get it back on the road . They had total empathy with my work situation despite how busy they were . They were amazing ! Thank you guys so much ?

Did the tyre check fine but parking there is inadequate. Not sure what they will do when parking on the pavement is outlawed. Also, I don't understand why a tyre check requires them to tune my radio to some lame RnB station.

Booked car in for minor fault on Wed. Arrived Sat promp ar 12:00 to drop car off , gentleman at counter told me only 2 cars in front of me and my car should be ready by 14:00. Heard nothing so decided to phone and checked at 15:00. Told still had not been looked at bu hopfully would be in the next half hour. Needed car back so went immediately to pick up. They obviously put the cars that just dropped in on the day before cars already booked in. Very poor service, very unprofessional and not interested in customer service. Advise do not use.

Great service from the guys this morning. Taken me in without an appointment, fixed my snapped light bulb, polished my headlight and put in screenwash. Greatly recommended

Order tyre two days before.Arrived on my booking time to be told they didn't have my tyre no phone call etc to tell me. Arrived the next day next day late afternoon to be told still no tyre. Cancelled order. Bad costumer service. Avoid.

My exhaust fell off my car on palatine road the aa dropped me off at halfords on longley lane the staff were very helpful and my. Car was left for repair I was very pleased as well as doing repair they found a fault with my brakes and fixed them as well I fe like I am driving a new car I will be recommending halfords to all my friends and family and if you are looking for good service and friendly staff this ace is the best thank you halfords on longley lane

Having taken my car - in a moment of madness - into the baboon enclosure at the safari park - and having the windscreen washers eaten by the biggest baboon in the world - Simon came to my rescue today. The wait time for parts from Toyota being after Christmas and me needing to drive back to London on monday he looked in his bag of tricks and got me back on the road with some universal parts and a smile. The windscreen washers work better now than they ever have!!! Thank you Simon - you really went beyond the call of duty today with the result of one very very satisfied customer ?

I came in with my new (used) car thinking I had a slow puncture, but it turned out I needed new tyres. This took a while to sort but of course was a bigger job than I thought I needed, and the staff, particularly Simon, were friendly and attentive. They seemed slightly short staffed though it was a very busy morning, and clearly all staff were working hard to keep things moving - I hope they are compensated accordingly! I appreciated the free general car health check, and the extended tyre warranty. Thank you.

Brought my vehicle in for a small job that I'd paid for online, was then told it required a further £600 of repairs. I've just had it checked by my regular garage who assure me it only needs the original job I'd taken it in for originally.I'd recommend not taking their word for any repairs over a new set of tyres, don't be scared to ask a different garage for a second opinion to avoid being ripped off.
