I love GG's and I have never been disappointed before, however I placed an order on uber and the snapper was really dry and the oxtail was really tough. I called and asked to speak to a manager and the lady replied with who is this. I said I placed an order on uber and regularly eat from there but am wondering if you are having an off day because my snapper is really dry and my oxtail is really tough and rubbery. The lady was very rude and the customer service was very poor. Usually when I go there I am served by a friendly gentleman. This woman began to tell me the oxtail is not tough because she is eating a piece right now and that it must just be the piece Im eating and she dont know what to tell me. So I said its only 5 pieces in the container and im on the second piece. Both are like this and was trying to explain to her that their food is normally really good however today I am a bit disappointed. You know this woman started shouting talking about im disrespecting her by saying the oxtail was tough and than hung up the phone in my ear. I tried to call back and she would not answer. Sad part is I come from a customer service background and I understand off days. What I will not accept is PAYING FOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE because I can shop elsewhere. She just lost a loyal customer due to her lack of accountability and her lack of respect. If a customer does not call and give feed back how would you know if something is wrong? I was not asking for a refund or anything I just wanted her to know the quality of food was not up to the usual standard. It's safe to say I love their food, but I WILL NEVER EAT FROM THERE AGAIN. If she is the manager she needs to do better. Her staff are more friendly and approachable than she is. I will be telling my friends and family do not go there nomore. I will pay more for better customer service and feel no way.

This is the only place I will endure slow service. There are all sorts of issues if we're judging this by fast food standards. I don't think it's occurred to them they're actually in the fast food business tbh. All that aside, it's easily the best Carribean food in Manchester, so I'll endure all the other stuff. There's only 1 GG's ?

Wonderfull food , I usually get curry goat with rice and peas , dumpling and patty . Very clean place , sometimes a bit of a wait they are busy with phone orders but we'll worth it , no doubt I would recommend GG,S . I drive an hour and half just for the food . Staff are polite and sociable .

just ordered from here for the first time. i had a steak split and two dumplings. the food was tasty, fresh and seasoned perfectly and dumplings where the best ive had. actually quite shocked at some of the negative reviews after todays experience. il be back regular

My mum and dad have ordered from here a few times now and there?s always been an issue with the food or missing items from the order. Today my dad had to throw a whole meal in the bin because his chicken was burnt to crisp and there was barely any meat mostly bones. Lovely staff and service but just seems like they are overwhelmed with orders and mistakes are being made. Some of the meals have been lovely it just seems to be hit and miss.

This place has been around for a while, all the other Caribbean places locally are closed down so thought I would give this a try. Prices not cheap but feel it's the going rate these days. Jerk chicken was dry and looked oven cooked with no chargrilled taste. Curry mutton was tasty. Portions were ok, about average. Not in a hurry to return
