Been doing Funky for nearly 30 years and it still can't be beat. Great night out, especially after a few bevvies post-footy. New Year's Eve is always a belter.

Amazing music and alright priced drinks but the bouncers are so rude and unnecessarily aggressive, almost ruined the night by being incredibly horrible and threatening to kick us out because one friend accidentally brought their drink into the smoking area. Funkademia does sell out most weeks so you are advised to either arrive early or purchase advance tickets from Skiddle, this way you can avoid the queues or even the sold out sign.
