Ideal place for getting into the city

Was comfortable for one night. Was a bit cold as we entered but the heating solved that problem fairly quickly.

Cheapest I found close to city centre. Is it the Hilton, the Malmaison, No! But does it do the job is it cheap and did I feel like I had enough to warrant to cost, certainly. Friendly bloke on the front desk. Less than £10 in a uber to Town.Room looked decent, you can tell they have done their best to male it modern. Bathroom not so much, bit it's a place to shower and go to the loo at the end of the day.Think this must have been an old residential care home and floor board a bit creaky in the room above. So let hope below don't mind when me and the misses get in tonight!Breakfast- full English was nice, continental didn't try because I didn't really see one.Overall 7 out if 10! 9 would be Hilton standard!

Stayed here because of its proximity to the National Basketball Performance Centre. I only saw it in the dark and rain of Manchester but it was a welcome sight! The room was clean and just right for one night. WiFi was good. Bar reasonably priced. Breakfast, that?s included, was in the price was a comprehensive buffet and tasty. I?d definitely stay here again.

As usual rooms were very clean and service much better. Location is great and close to the train station and popular Root night club. I believe the owners should be looking at self check in and all that. Had a good experience as usual.

The decor in the room is a bit tired and could do with updating, fresh coat of paint and a new carpet or at least new underlay as it was very thin and not nice to walk on without shoes. The buffet breakfast was nice with a good choice. The overall stay was good but i did think that it was quite expensive for the whole look of the place. Also, having a call at 2am from reception which was in fact a wrong number and not meant for us wasn't good. To be woken up with a loud alarming noise at that time of night was frightening now knowing what was going on.

Perfect location for what we needed. Close enough to the center of Manchester that you can walk, also buses available if you prefer. Tesco nearby if you need snacks and breakfast was complimentary, and was a decent buffet. Friendly staff and clean, spacious room. We found it to be quiet on Saturday night and slept well, though we only stayed one night. Only improvement that could be made is to provide charge points next to the beds. That said we had plenty of sockets, just on the other side of the room, and we managed just fine.
