Costco is fine but queues at checkouts can be long and even more so for the cafe/restaurant counter which regularly exceeds 20 minutes.Manchester has outgrown this store; it's time for larger premises.Since I wrote this review, Costco has installed self-order terminals for cafe food and this has significantly reduced the waiting time to be served.

Went on 2/3/24 a Saturday. They close 8pm. I arrived at 7:30pm and it was closed.Returned the Sunday, and it was packed!! Extremely busy with lots of queues for the cafe, including til and not many tils open....

Large store. Very good quality food and other stuff. Prices are okay. Free parking. Not sure if time limit. At a cafe with very limited seating. Management reduces seating in recent times.

I'm not sure why Costco in the UK seems so exclusive, allowing only those with jobs to enter, leaving most students out in the cold. To me, it's just a supermarket, nothing extraordinary. If I pay for a membership and settle my bills at checkout, then I should be granted entry, regardless of my employment status. My classmates from the China assert that such restrictions don't exist in their countries.
