Travelled 4.5 hours from Edinburgh to Manchester. My daughter had a painful tummy and before ordering drinks I asked if she could go to the bathroom - explaining her pain.There was a trainer Barrista kn the floor saying she couldn?t use the toilet as it was for customers only, I explained I?d be ordering but she was not helpful. I then asked the Barrista behind the counter if my daughter could go to the toilet as I would bee ordering again I was told a code is only produced once the order is made.After ordering and my daughter going to the toilet took this up with the Barrista explaining that I know for a fact that businesses allow people to use the toilet if they have health conditions - she then said I should have told her that (which I did).I was basically lied too she then said in the area they have alot of basically chavs / drug users coming in trying to use the toilets ! I explained and asked if I looked like one ! (Oops no I?m a lawyer !)In then asked the trainee barista why she said my daughter couldn?t use the toilet ! She said it was company policy ! I explain I spend thousands with Costa and have friends and good relationships with management in Edinburgh !To cut a long story short the behaviour of the trainee barista was disgusting she actually acted like a chav and the type of person who would be barred from a decent coffee shop.Formal complaint being made to Phillipee Costa?s CEO.I?d advise some basic customer service training to the trainee barrista!

Many advertisements of food and drink outside the shop and inside the shop that when I asked for they didn?t have any of it. They only had around 3 options on the cold drink menu.

There was a bit of a rush as I arrived. But the Manager seemed to relish it, giving out a lot of positive energy ?
Lovely brown toast and bucket of skinny latte. Just a shame about the heavily stained seating. People!

My friends and I ordered 4 cups of coffee but we had our own croissants and one of the staff said you can't eat inside, while out side was cold, in my opinion, this behaviour with a customer is so annoying, if something is a policy in the company you need to put on walls .

The staff didn?t allowed us to eat our own cookies here despite that we ordered coffee, we had to went out to eat our cookies with the coffee.
It was a disappointing customer service.
