Went during morning, for breakfast, treated myself to my free drink, and my Treat Drop. Macaroni was nice and warm, drink wasn't overly bitter, with the additional shot of coffee. Also, people who complain on the straws supposedly being 'unusable' are ridiculous, I prefer non-paper straws as well, but it's not that bad. Just don't destroy the thing.

I always go for coffee with my my 2 year old son and friends 3 or 4 times a week .But the manager is not friendly at all, keeps complaining every time when we show up because of my son he is a child sometimes he speaks loud but I manage him to be quiet but this lady always complaining as I know is a free place where everyone can go and have a drink for half an hour I do not stay longer than that but this lady keeps telling me I have to keep my child quiet even though he is playing and having fun with his toys . I?m aware that he might disturb other costumers but I don?t stay there if he don like to stay because even I don?t feel comfortable when he makes noise .But I don?t like the way they keep telling me how to educate a 2 year old all that she knows very well that I leave when my son starts to be noisy .It looks like this lady doesn?t like kids but is not my fault for that if this lady don?t like noise she can quit and leave the place to someone else because a coffee shop isn?t quiet at all people speak loud and make noise but I don?t complain because if I want peace stay at home don?t go to a coffee shop . I want leave it with this review I will complain to the owner and take other action about this because isn?t the first time this happened . I?m very disappointed with this manager because she keeps complaining for a two year old .And this happened only when the lady is in,other days is fine other staff members are nice and friendly

You should stop telling your customers that you're getting into trouble with head office because people are complaining about your rude staff members. Stay professional, and if your staff requires additional member service training, take it and re-train if need be if you want to progress in your career as a barista. A cup of coffee/café is for people to wind down but the rudeness just winds people up. I use the Costa machine in the Morrison's petrol station across the road now and drink my coffee in my car. You're stirring constant trouble with your gossip.

Kid-friendliness: Very bad customer service and where ever we go around Manchester we got a free milk for kids but on this one the staff very unfriendly never again
