Customer service is absolutely shocking. Worst staff I've seen in any Co-op in Manchester. Such a shame this is the only supermarket in the area. I would avoid at all cost

Worst staff ever! Male staff in this shop are the worst ever! Ignored me at the tills with a screaming baby for 10 mins then acted like I was the A-hole for asking them to do their jobs!

Had the worst customer service today at this coop. They don't keep bags at the self service checkout, so I wanted to know how to get a bag. I asked "excuse me" to one of the staffs, she ignored and I thought maybe she didn't hear me as she had a head-phones on. So I said "excuse me" again and she went "What?!". She was so rude and she looked at me all rudely like she was annoyed at me, I have been in the shop for a total of 2 mins and I am not sure what I did to get that kind of an experience.
I was visiting my sister who lives here, and I have never had these kind of experiences from any other co-ops. I saw her being nice to someone else after and I was so shocked how rude she is to me.
Please don't hire racist staff, and please hire some staff who can smile!! They behave like they own the shop and the customers are asking for ration! People shouldn't be scared to come to this shop to buy essentials. All bad customer staff!
It's 2024 and it's weird receiving this kind of treatment from places where I pay for the goods you have (maybe even twice compared to other places)

I can honestly say that in the nearly 30 years I have lived around the area, I?ve had no interaction with any of the staff. The older guy who?s been there some years now, is so bloody miserable n short with customers! I dread when I see him at the till, which is often. He doesn?t make any eye contact and speaks to you like you?re inconveniencing him. Terrible customer service, which is very off putting. If I have to go in now, I try and use the self service where possible. Please give this man some urgent customer service training!

It is a nice enough shop with a variety of items. It is quite expensive compared with other supermarkets though.

Don?t order from Uber eats when it?s half price monday fruit and veg, they sell you leftover stuff that?s almost off. Put it short always buy fruit and veg in person after inspecting.Edit: the reason it got 2 stars and not 1, they came clutch during covid for baby formula.

Useful local convenience store that stocks most useful every day items. Can be slightly pricier than supermarkets though!

I have been costumers since 2017 with co operative shop.On 3/01/23 i bought 20 pall Mall shift from the store i did found bug on the felter make me cough all day and feeling sick in my stomach i went back to the staff to return they didn't even care about my complain and they keep telling me i need to see the manger but every time i go no manger and i felt they playing unprofessional game to get red of me i feel very bad about that and i start to think i dont need to spend my money with such poor customer service

Usually has the essentials, slightly over priced but I guess that's a Coop. They sometimes have some good reductions. But oh my, some of the staff here can be so rude!! I often will avoid the tills when I see particular staff as their customer service is poor, basic manners are non existent to be honest!
