I?m awarding 5 stars to Co-op Whalley Range because I have never had a problem with the food delivery service Co-op provides. On this occasion there was one bag missing I rang the store and within 10 mins the missing bag arrived. So although mistakes do happen they were extremely swift in resolving.

Overpriced and understaffed. Every time I come in this shop there's always just one person working at the till with a long queue of people going back into the aisles. So much easier to just go to Tesco.

Poor customer service coupled with a subtle insult asking if I could read the price of the item. It was priced at £1.50 instead of £2.20. When I took the items to the till it came up as £2.20p. I queried this and was rather abruptly told that the promotion was finished. If so then it should have been removed from the shelf which it wasn?t. No apology from the woman in charge but a dog ad to whether I could read the price. I don?t have to accept rudeness from shop staff when it?s not warranted and the female in question needs a course of customer management as in her case it was clearly lacking. I did not get her name but she wore glasses and had long reddish hair.

I don?t understand why there aren?t any self checkouts and there?s only one till open? This is the closest shop to me but I rarely go because I?m always stuck in a queue.

Usually fairly well stocked with friendly, helpful staff. Has a small world foods section and a cash machine.

Everything is fine other than when it?s time to bag up the items, it?s a nightmare, there?s no space to bag anything up because of the stupid Covid screens, you can?t even grab tall things out from underneath the screen without catching it constantly and it?s sharp, also not all dealing with that you?ve got to bag up in mid air, it?s crazy. At least someone is cleaning the baskets these days.

Standard co-op but it's rare that you'll go in here and not be stuck in a queue. The staff do their best but it really would benefit from having some self checkouts to make the process less arduous. The only tills open usually are the tobacco tills and more often than not it's only one person serving. Most co-ops have self service so it's baffling why this one doesn't

Its got a good selection of produce on offer and the staff are always very helpful and friendly. However, there aren't any self checkout and for some unknown reason they very rarely open any till other than the ones for buying tobacco which means queues are lengthy.

Good range of products but often has long queues even if there?s plenty of staff milling about. If you?re considering getting a parcel delivered here though don?t bother. You have to wait a long time (10-15 minutes) because they can never find the parcels and say it?s because they receive too many. They?ve also lost my latest parcel which has been checked into the store and initially the manager was very confrontational about it like it was my fault! He didn?t want to listen to me and another member of staff had to intervene and go to double check it wasn?t there. The item is a vintage jacket so it can?t be replaced unfortunately.

I am a regular customer at this shop My only issue with them is they are selling medjool dates with no country of origin on the box. Why is that? Go to Sainsburys or Morrisons they tell you where they're from and quite often it's Israel. Is the reason co-op aren't labelling the country of origin on these dates because they're from Israel and they know a lot of people would not want to buy them because of all the horrific persecution and killing of Palestinians? Any way its misleading customers not letting them know where the dates are from
