The bearded young bloke serving looked utterly bored. Crockery piled up on the tables, which I had to move. Server forgot my syrup, but no apology, just a raised eyebrow and intake of breath. No smiles for anyone. Is it beneath him? Has there been a family tragedy? Is he worried about climate change? Who knows. Train your staff, please: polite, efficient and happy.

This is a very nice coffee shop located on Deansgate in central Manchester.the coffee was excellent and the staff were very good and pleasant.the shop is well located close to shops and public transport.the shop has easy access for the disabled.

Lovely space with a range of seating that can be enjoyed with good coffee. Service is always friendly, and the milk is often steamed well. There are plug sockets for charging, as well as books available for reading!

Never too busy so you can always find a seat. Staff are unfailingly polite, friendly and efficient. Tables are kept clean and there is the usual abundant range of drink and food choices.

Trainee barista failed to complete my usual request for extra hot-wet grande latte which fell short of usual service. What used to be the best CN site gradually losing a hard won reputation. May need to change regular haunt on a Sunday. Disappointing and not for the 1st time lately.

- Very friendly staff member when I visited the branch at 3:55pm-ish on 18 Jul 2024. (My voucher somehow did not go through but the lady at the till dealt with it patiently and kindly. Very impressed and happy with my experience.)
- A great location on Deansgate.
- I have been to a few branches of Caffe Nero in Manchester and am getting an impression that they are generally very friendly + the coffees are of a great taste.
