My flu jab appointment was cancelled by Boots in Swinton in early December 23. Their email gave me an option to rebook an alternative appointment. A woman rang me on the day of the appointment and informed me this appointment was also cancelled as they did not have the flu jab in stock. She said she would ring me when it was back in stock. It''s now March 24 - no call. I want a refund now, so I rang the store several times using the phone number on their Google business listing. It rings out for quite a while and then goes dead. It seems they do not answer the phone nor reply to the google reviews I have read on here, to monitor their Customer Service standards.
I have rang the Boots Pharmacy Online Customer Care Number and they too are hopeless!!! 4 Calls; spoke to 2 Sarnal and Kabir both assured me they would put me "directly through to the Pharmacy team". I just end up in a loop put through to another "choose options" line. Then the line goes dead. 4th time Kabir after more "choose options" I finally thought I got through to someone, someone said hello and the line went dead! It seems from the store to the online service that backs up the in-store appointments is hopeless.

Can only confirm previous comments. Been queueing 10 mins, still 7 in front. Only 1 person for dispensing and serving at same time. Patience running out, time to change pharmacy for my repeats. Explanations needed please.

Went in for my flu jab and there was a massive queue for the only person serving. Got there 10 minutes early, but had to wait over 15 minutes in the queue just to let them know I was there!Woman doing my jab had apparently come in on her day off, and the woman on the till didn't normally work there so had to keep asking for help from staff hidden away in the back room.Overheard customers saying things like, "This is the worst Boots I've ever been in," and "What's happened to their shelves, it looks like they've been raided."Definitely won't be going back!

It?s sad to see this store in the state that it is in. I was actually early for my appointment as I know what the queue can be like. I was advised to come back. When I did come back(still early) I was in the queue for 15 mins actually then making me 5 mins late for my appointment. Serious lack of staff & the ones that serve don?t seem to be bothered that people are waiting.. I think they?re that used to being behind that it?s just the norm for them. Needs more staff or just closing all together!

Understaffed, poor service, low morale of staff who all appear miserable and downtrodden, minimal stock options, excessive waiting times for both prescriptions and general service .Boots UK need to either close this place or up its staffing levels as its not fit for purpose imo . In the last 18mth this place has declined massively ,coinciding with staff redundancies and transfers, if it were a pet I'd euthanize it!!Whilst being ignored by staff behind the pharmacy screen and literally 2ft in front of me, I actually overheard a staff member say "shall we close up for a while to catch up" !! Presumably on stocking up,and fulfilling scripts which were way behind. No stability with this store anymore ,mass staff changes have caused this. When previously staffed you were greeted like a friend and taken care of, your scripts always tended to be ready and staffvwere happy to serve ..now you're treated like a pirayah and shunted out as quick as possible.

Came in with prescritpion and was told there is missing a date stamp on it and that its a legal requirement and nothing she can do. Came back to doctors and they said I just had to write woth pen todays date and that they dont have a stamp date... went to a different pharmacy and got the prescription no problem. Very unhelpfull and unprofesional staff. Barely got my antibiotic and almost suffer serious pain thanks to the "kind lady". AVOID

Can never seem to get through on the phone.Changed to a 1 star today, over 2 weeks later. Phone still not working/being answered and I?m not driving there again ?

This store is absolutely vile. There?s one staff member who is absolutely appalling, she talks to you like dirt and is so disrespectful. On the day I was in there were so many customers complaining of wrong medication,boots should close this one down

Absolutely appalled by this store as a professional i have started to escalate to the Pharmaceutical council, trading standards and head office. Sick of store opening late, not at all, making customers stare through the window whilst you eat your Greg?s, elderly people needing support because they are stood at door waiting for the food to be devoured! It?s an absolute disgrace. Your letting the whole community down

Sorry to say that because of the repeat prescription were not automatically ordered as promised and to the half empty products on the selves I've now changed my chemist shopping to a chemist nearer home. I feel very disappointed with Boots.
