Steak was disgusting, bbq chicken was like rubber. Kids enjoyed their pizza which was something. Service was soooo slow. Waitress asked if food was ok but barely took a second for us to answer as she quickly walked off anyway. Breakfast was ok this morning , better than dinner. Understaffed and male toilets were filthy. We won?t be returning.

Considering how much we paid for 5 meals and a drink each, I have had better food at a wetherspoon public house, for a fraction of the price, when we got there, there was a couple arguing with each other, it was also draughty and not very warm were we were sat, I wouldn't go again. Sad to Say.

Now i don't expect much from a beefeater, but at least get the order right. Had to recall the waiter for every item they brought out and to only be told they couldn't do the ribs and chicken I ordered when the starters were brought out was little annoying. When asked if everything was OK at the end of the meal I replied 'not really' the guy just shrugged his shoulders and walked off

This Beefeater has really upped its game, had the Xmas menu and it's one of the best Christmas dinners I have had eating out. Would highly recommend from my experience

We had a meal there on Tuesday evening as my sister was staying there for two nights while visiting from Jersey . The staff were friendly enough but we had to wait an hour for our food and then at ten to ten they started to rush us telling us that they closed at ten o clock when it states on the website that they closed at eleven I think they just wanted to go home because it was a quiet Tuesday night

Having had a really bad experience at a Beefeater in Milton Keynes at the weekend we came here to a more local one instead to use our Black Friday voucher. I've never been to this one before, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was really nice. This is definitely a hundred times better than the rude Milton Keynes branch and I imagine we'll try it again sometime. The heating does appear to still be broken as mentioned in a previous review, but they have placed portable radiators around the place and it didn't seem too bad.
Parking: Free parking for hotel users, 3 hours for Beefeater guests, you must register your car at the door when you go in.

Went in The Beefeater tonight and there was no heating was told it was broke but there was no heating the week before which wasn't too bad as the temperature outside want close to freezing. So we all sat with our coats on. Even our 2 year old. There were only 3 staff on and the place was full. It was the last day of 50% off deal. The kitchen were spot on but the staff couldn't cope. Something needs to be addressed quickly. We have been going there for many years and have never seen it as bad. Felt sorry for the staff did a brilliant job in the circumstances.

The breakfast was quite nice when it came, but the staff seem amazingly disorganised, very nice, but it's almost comedic how everything went wrong.
The coffee machine wasn't working properly
There was no hot water for tea
There was no butter
The orange juice has run out
The breakfast took over half an hour to arrive
There were items missing from the breakfast
They took the missing items to the wrong table
There were missing items from the missing items!
Everything was dealt with, but it almost felt like a Fawlty Towers episode.

came in here last night for a 76th birthday meal for my auntie , and her friends . the building was freezing! bare in mind this was booked last week and we was not informed at any time that the boiler/ heating has gone and there would be no heating in the building. they should of rang us so we could seek alternative place to dine preferably one with heating! we all sat there with our coats on, even the staff was cold! food was okay staff was doing a fantastic job. not not acceptable when your spending £200+
so anyone looking to dine here wrap up warm, bring your hat scarf and gloves. and thermals! .
How my auntie and her friends did not come out with hypothermia especially as they are elderly is just pure luck and good health!
anyone who booked their Christmas dinner here - get your money back and go else where we was told they are not fixing the problem as it is too expensive, thank me later ...
p.s wasn't just us sat there with out coats on was other diners too
