I haven't been here for years and It'll be years again. Popped in last night for a drink, approx 9pm. The place was filthy. Muck and rubbish on the floor as you walk in. We sat on the bar section. It stunk of dogs and there were biscuits and litter everywhere. We moved seats three times then decided to move to another bar. I cannot believe this is owned by the bellavista. Shameful, dirty badly run establishment.

Always worth a visit here. Nice, clean, friendly, warm. Food looks nice, decent menu.

Would not recommend. Staff were very extremely rude and food wait was 1 hour. The food was undercooked and hard.

First time at this restaurant/pub to meet up with a friend. Staff attentive food piping hot and very tasty. Well done everybody will definitely return

Not good food. I was very disappointed. Although a good amount of vegan options, I went for what I thought was a safe bet as vegan food is often rubbish in these types of places. The Kiev was ok, very much like the one you can get from aldi. This was a small Kiev served with plain boiled potatoes and very bland veg (cauliflower, sugar snap peas and carrots). I don?t know why there wasn?t gravy as most gravy?s are vegan so not hard to get hold of. I?m vegan to not have dead on my plate but this was the deadest meal I?ve had in a long time! Plus I came away still very hungry so waste of money really

Enjoyed a fairly good lunch this week with friends. My only criticism is that the cheese and onion pie was overcooked and the portion was quite small considering the price.

Didn't rate. Dog friendly although people move cos we had dogs with us. Steak sandwich was actually a 0/10, chips undercooked. Really disappointed as reviews looked great but food was honestly awful

A shining light of hospitality right on the lake front. Gorgeous sundown views over the lake and the rowers and the geese. Wicked double espresso with a shot of vodka, decent enough espresso martini, surprisingly poor wines by the glass considering the prices - £7.60 for a large serve of an extremely mediocre Argentinian Malbec I certainly wouldn't expect to pay more than £6 at the supermarket. But it doesn't actually matter. It's such a refreshing and welcoming place in the middle of a long hike, lovely young Italian staff at the bar (from Napoli), extremely accommodating. Highly recommend it.

Only popped in for a quick drink but I have been a few times. The food is lovely. Average prices. Clean and tidy with friendly service.
