That a shame. Been coming here for 10+ years, the food is good when it finally arrives. Dissatisfied ? what’s happened ?!
Couple of things on the-menu not available, ordered a vegetarian breakfast, nasty quorn sausage, I would expect better for the place & price) poached eggs over cooked, hash brown just like crisp, asked for brown toast, received white, and when i asked for brown I was asked did I order...

If you’re visiting Hollingworth Lake and thinking about a lovely place to eat well the olive and pickle is a must! I popped in while working locally as a thought of treat myself to a nice breakfast as it looks really appealing and I certainly wasn’t wrong. Staff are wonderful very pleasant and had a great conversation...
