Booked in for MOT and full service and wanted to leave the car over night and collect the next day however when we rang we was told it hadn't even been started yet and wasn't ready. Plans had to be cancelled that day and then we recieved a phone call at night to ask why we hadn't been to collect the car yet!!On arrival we had extra charged which wasn't disclosed on the phone and the staff had actually lost the keys to our car and was even looking in the car for them. Won't be coming back

Shambolic at best. Staff swearing outloud on site, witnessed upset customers whilst I was waiting. Booked in for service in November, not carried out in full as no tool to do it, never told this was the case till after I?d booked on and left car for the day. Chased them for a full month when the part is coming in but no one ever called me back. The manager of the store must have been scared to call with bad news as I didn?t receive a single call despite nearly 20 requests, regional manager got involved, best he could muster up was an apology and promised calls back but always was me chasing and not them calling me back.Never ever will be returning after this disaster. I?ve seen chocolate fireguards more useful than the manager and regional manager for here.

Took them two days to complete a service. They then wanted to take an extra day to fit some break pads that were found to be low during the service. At that point I asked them to stop. I didn?t get one update throughout, instead I had to call them at the end of day two.My vehicle is on a company lease and I?m sure when they see this they put it to the back of the queue and then try to bleed the lease company of every penny they can get, all whilst making the user of the vehicle wait for days.I?ve fed this back into leaseplan and advised them to remove this garage from their approved list. Why anybody would knowingly pay for this rubbish is beyond me.

Just called in as I had a rear light out, excellent service. Explained they didn't have the bulb in now but would have 1 for me tomorrow. Thanks for the help ??

Just had my MOT at Hyde 201 unit. I can't rate the team anymore Ian and his team were excellent start to finish.Where ever Ian goes I follow him because of his professionalism.

Absolutely impeccable service. Cannot fault them at all. Booked my car in for a very last minute MOT as another place let me down and I will now not be going anywhere else! I was kept up to date on the status of my vehicle and the repairs needed to it, with amazing customer service along the way. Thank you so much to everyone there, you guys are ace!!

2 years on row these guys have done my service and MOT and can?t fault them at all. I?ve had friendly, knowledgeable and good customer service and advice from whoever I?ve spoken to. Not been shafted over or forced into having anything extra done unlike my experience elsewhere. Can?t fault them and can?t see a reason why I won?t be back next year. Paid online and checked availability to suit me in advance too. This year my MOT was free due to me having the Halfords Motoring Club and I?ve saved on other things too, I was expecting to ?fail? so they could recoup an MOT fee but that wasn?t the case. Passed both years.

Dropped my car off at 9.30 to get a DPF flush. At 2.30 rang them to check on it's progress. I was told they were about to start on it and they would ring me in about an hour. 2 hours later I rang again, knowing they shut at 5. They then told me it couldn't be done on their system. I dont believe they even tried because the car was parked exactly the same spot. Not impressed with them one bit.

Hi just been to this centre after Jordan who works there had looked at my tyres this morning at a moment notice he wasn?t happy and arranged to do a deeper inspection of my car later to find the fault so on my return he got the car on the ramp and found the fault after just a few ministers he then advised me and gave me a quote for the work .outstanding customer service Jordon showed real concern for my safety and made time to find the fault I have been fobbed off and told there to busy by many today so big relief to find staff and garage that care about you and your families safety regarding your cars condition

Booked an air conditioning service via Halfords website, got there 10 mins before as per confirmation txt. Reception was closed because the manager was running late. Eventually a guy turns up with a pen and paper taking names reg numbers and keys. When it was my turn I was told even though they have the equipment no one was trained so they couldn't do it.really poor from Halfords all round!

I would like to share my recent experience at Halfords Hyde, where I sought an MOT and service after leaving it to the last minute. While I was fortunate enough to find availability, I must note that the overall experience was marred by poor communication and aggressive upselling.During the process, I was informed of repairs that were presented in a very blunt manner, leading to an initial test costing £40 escalating to £750 over several days. As a result, I am unsure if all the work done was absolutely necessary.Overall, my experience at Halfords Hyde was okay, but the communication and upselling left a lot to be desired. I would recommend that future customers exercise caution and ensure clear communication with the staff regarding the scope of work and cost.
