“a godsend for meals throughout the month. As with everything these days their prices are creeping up and you get less for your money but having said that the prices are not extortionate yet and there are bargains to be had.”

“Friendly, helpful staff. A good place to bulk buy and fill the freezer. Also sells other grocery items at competitive prices. Refrigerators of cheese, Marge & butter and so on are worth a look too. Todays bargain was a large tub (over twice the volume of the usual jars) of Swartz Barbeque seasoning.”

“All in all, and excellent store, with excellent food on sale instore and in the cafe.Quite often go to this Tesco, both to shop and for breakfast. The tills are rarely fully staffed, but that has never been an issue when I've been there as they work quickly and efficiently and the queues never get long in my experience. The amount of food, and non-food, on display is much larger than my local Tesco, and the shelves are always well stocked with a large amount of food, books, magazines, household supplies, etc. I've never had an issue parking and there is a large car park. Toilets are downstairs, close to the store entrance, and there are separate disabled toilets downstairs and also upstairs next to the cafe. When the escalator isn't working (which is not often) there is a lift at the back of the store. The cooked breakfast is usually better than most Tesco cafe's (the beans are usually hot, for example, not barely warm as in some other cafe's). That said, the cafe does sometimes suffer from the same two problems as every other cafe, Tesco or otherwise. The first, is that nobody works seven days a week and people cook differently, so sometimes it's excellent and sometimes it's not quite so excellent, but it's rarely poor. The second problem, is that what is being cooked depends upon what food is collected from the store, and different people collect different things, or sometimes the same food is not available. For example, the bacon is almost always decent, lean, thick slices without too much fat, but occasionally you may get something different as in the picture. Poor bacon of about 50% fat that no amount of good cooking would improve. All in all, and excellent store, with excellent food on sale instore and in the cafe.”

“Asda is cool. Morrison's is also cool. But in both stores it's equally as hard to find a decently sized swimming pool. I'm not a roaster and I won't put up a negative poster, but go to Homebase if you want a toaster-The end”

“Brilliant asda always a good variety of stock staff always happy to help and serve you with a smile clean store. Only issue is its no longer a 24/7 store which is awkward due to the hours I would. So I wonder will this ever be a 24/7 store again!?”
