Absolute shocker of an experience!! I had booked for colour, cut and dry 3-4 weeks in advance. Got to the salon for appt today only to be told my appt had been cancelled. The lady at the reception asked if I had not received a cancellation text/call. I was shocked to say the least! I had no phone calls from them. A text that went to my junk msgs an hour before my appt was scheduled for from Kayleigh saying she had to cancel, which I only saw after I got told at the salon my appt had been cancelled. I had made childcare arrangements for this appt!! They are far from professional and I would not go back there again as they are unreliable. I have now wasted money on childcare I did not require had they been professional about this and gave me sufficient notice, not an HOUR before my actual appt!!!

The Serenity Salon is an amazing place to go to cater to all your hair and beauty needs. You are always welcomed with a friendly smile and thoroughly looked after from start to finish in a very professional, honest and attentive manner. I would highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed ?

I booked more than two weeks in advance for an appointment for highlights, hair wash, curls, waxing and brows. She said I had to go a few days in advance for the consultation, but I explained that as I lived far away, I would need to do the consultation on the same day as the highlights and she confirmed the appointment and said that there was no problem. I had made an appointment for a wedding. I called the day before the appointment to confirm because I thought it was weird that they didn't confirm my appointment one day before and she said she didn't have anything booked for me, just a CONSULTATION for highlights, a waxing and a brow. And she said she didn't have any hairdressers available to do my hair. Giving me just one day's notice to find someone else on such short notice. I do not recommend this place to anyone, I schedule an appointment weeks in advance for a wedding, such an important event, she confirmed to me that I could do the highlights in the same day after the consultation and with only one day left before the appointment, she said that there was nothing scheduled for my hair and that there was nothing they could do for me. How does a beauty salon behave like this? Total lack of commitment and respect for the customer. And lack of organization and responsibility. I do not recommend this salon to my family in bolton or anyone else, after all if you make an appointment there, there is no guarantee that you will be attended to and they will let you down at the last minute like they did to me and they couldn't care less.

I called in about a week prior to book my slot, was greeted today and made very welcome.Not only do I love the clean and stylish decor, all the staff there were friendly, professional and felt genuine.As I had my nails done, I was spoken to and listened to, and felt so well cared for! Definitely looking forward to going next time, very talented and kind staff.

Don?t take kids here. Booked in for a haircut for my 6yo, hoping that she?d get a proper haircut. On arrival, was told the slot was only 15 minutes and that they were prepared to either do a dry cut, or a wet cut but not dry the hair. Not willing to do a full wet haircut. Hairdresser then did the haircut in a rush. Took child home to get hair dried, at which point it became apparent the hair hadn?t been cut evenly (see picture). I was quite clear about it being a child?s haircut when I booked - I?ve no problem with a salon saying they don?t do children, but to accept the booking and do a bodge job speaks to poor standards and a lack of pride in your work.
